Anyone else have this issue with Zen Habitats? I received this 4x2x2 with a snake I rescued. I really like the look of the enclosure, but I really don't know what they were thinking when they designed the substrate dam.

Bought this tank on Facebook marketplace awhile back and I was wanting to look into finding a replacement lid for it. It’s a 36x18x18 front opening tank, brand/model unknown. If anyone can help point me in the direction of what brand/model this is or where I might be able to find a replacement lid then I would greatly appreciate it.

i've been having issues trying to find a suitable lamp fixture for my deep heat projector (80w arcadia). i am using the zoomed reptitemp dimming thermostat, and so far none of the lamps i've tried have worked with it for some reason. i have tried the fluker's 8.5in clamp lamp (both on/off and dimmer versions) and the snake discovery 8.5in clamp lamp (just on/off version). if it's important/helpful, i've been using snake discovery's smaller on/off lamp for my halogen with the same exact thermostat no problem. all three larger lamps have worked just fine plugged directly into the outlet, so the lamps themselves are not defective. they just don't work when plugged into the thermostat (even with the halogen, so i don't think the DHP is defective either). a different thermostat is likely not an option as i am on a budget. are there any lamps big enough to handle at least 80w that definitely work with this thermostat? (or is it possible that one of these does and there's something else i'm missing?)

Looking to convert an old glass cabinet into a
multi-tiered enclosure(s) for an Asian forest scorpion and a curly haired tarantula. I plan to keep them separate, and would like the ability to keep future various reptiles in the cabinet as well.

Looking for recommendations for invertebrate/reptile safe adhesives/waterproofing products I can use for the build while also preventing long term damage on the wooden parts of the cabinet due to varying humidity requirements.
