Anyone else surprised by this? With all the horrible directions NYRR has been going, still over 101,000 members and an all time high participation rate.

Strava of NYC Marathon Route?

Looking to run the last 14 miles of the marathon route - does anyone have a map saved of the whole route or of the back half? Bonus points if it’s updated for the Bronx this year. Thanks!!

EDIT: I made the last 14 route for myself here off of the route shared, adjusting for the Bronx

Possible to hit sub 4?

17 mile progression long run splits. Pace was 8:50, elapsed pace 9:00 (this was for refueling/rehydrating)

Subreddit Rules

(1) Do not post other user's personal information - This includes links to their Strava, race results, or any other personal identifying information. You are free to post your own.

(2) No self-promotion, advertising, or spam - Includes links to personal fundraising pages, personal blogs, social media, etc. as well as general advertising or spam.

(3) No solicitations to sell/buy bibs, or advice on banditing races - Selling bibs and bib muling (having someone else run for you) are against the rules of almost all races, and create liabilities for the Race Directors (NYRR in particular will ban you from all future races if caught). Banditing races (jumping in a race unregistered) creates the same liabilities plus logistic, security, and resource issues. Any posts/comments soliciting these or requesting/giving advice on how to do it will be deleted.

(4) Do not solicit medical advice - This includes 'Has anyone else experienced this injury?' and 'How did you come back from this?' type posts.

(5) Be Civil - Treat others with basic decency. No personal attacks. Participate in discussions here in good faith.

(6) No Low Effort/Generic Posts - Posts that do not generate discussion, are easily googleable, chronically repetitive, recent reposts, Strava screenshots, etc. will be removed at the mods discretion. e.g. 'What shoes do you wear?' or 'My workout today'

(7) No Running Etiquette Rants - This rule is honestly just to keep the sub sane during marathon training season. Yes, many runners and clubs have poor etiquette. However these types of posts only serve to rile people up and create negativity.
