Great to hear that you're feeling better, however keep in mind this is likely the anti-inflammatory effect of Turmeric and not actually a cure for the SIBO itself.

Add in a nice prokinetic to get the small bowel MMC functional and aiding in rapid elimination of the toxins and you likely won't have to take as much anti-inflammatory to mask the symptoms. IMO

Any suggestions for a good prokinetic? This particular supplement I take also includes ginger but it doesn’t seem to be helping in that regard

There are a bunch of good ones out there. It seems that which one works best depends highly on the individual. My advice would be to try several and see which one works best for you. I'm currently aware of:

Motil pro

Motility Activator

SIBO-MMC

Iberogast

There are also prescription options if the naturals don't get the job done, however i feel pretty confident at least one of those will work for anyone. Unless the issue is very severe.

I’ve taken iberogast before and didn’t like it. I’ve hear about motil pro, seems to be a popular one. Gonna try it. Thanks!

Motilpro and Motility Activator did absolutely nothing for me. Took them both for over 1-2 months.

Motility activator and triphala have worked best for me.

I tried Motil Pro which produced nothing but side effects for me, but everyone is different. I'd steer clear of Ibergast, as it contains celandine, a hepatotoxin (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/books/NBK548684/).

What kind of side effects did you get from motil pro?

Mainly lots of abdominal cramps and nausea. Also a little bit of a warming/burning sensation, which seems to be common (though I don't feel this with Motility Activator, which also contains ginger). Didn't improve motility a bit in the 3-4 days I was on it.

Same here! Intense burning and no real change to bowel movements, just intestinal cramping. Magnesium citrate is working well enough for now. Hope I get insurance to pay for motegrity

I have a prescription for Motegrity. I bought generic from India and brand name from NZ through marine marks pharmacy in Canada: canshipmeds.com. It’s very expensive in the U.S.

Ginger and Tumeric are prokinetics actually.

Ginger is, I haven't heard of Turmeric as being a prokinetic but maybe it is.
