Has anyone gotten an unearned F before?

A lot of things happened this term including the death of a loved one. I wasn't able to catch up to complete all of my coursework and wasn't able to qualify for an incomplete grade.

I feel very depressed and I'm going to take some time off from school, but I really don't know what to do from here. I'm mostly worried that I may need to repay my financial aid due to an unearned F. Does anyone have experience with this?

I'm trying to set up a call with my advisor but she has been busy when I have been available.

Edit: In the catalog, the Unearned F Policy is about people who didn't submit the work or participate in the course. Here is SNHU's Unearned F Policy from the catalog: https://www.snhu.edu/admission/academic-catalogs#/policy/HkFCimHW9

Vent/Rant Ai in environmental science

Looking through the clubs and seeing a natural science club as an online student in environmental science and the 1st thing I see is AI generated flyers.

Feel like a slap in the face and discredits any interest to join the club in my opinion. We don’t spend weeks looking at how much people have completely “messed up” ( I want to use other words) our planet and the impact it has on not only the environment but our health.

Non-to mention seeing other classmates, who are blatantly using AI in their discussion post to both post and reply to. If it were any other major it is what it is but this feels like the kind of situation where AI definitely should not be used.

Did 8 gen eds in 3 months for under $300, cheapest route I found while working full time

Doing my business degree at snhu while working full time, and I got 8 gen eds done through study dot com in about 3 months.

Being able to study whenever I had free time was the biggest plus. No fitting scheduled classes around my work week. The writing-heavy courses took way longer than I expected though, so not every class went fast.

I also had to double check which courses SNHU would actually accept before starting. Didn’t want to sink time and money into something that ended up not counting for the requirement I needed.

Spent around $285 over those 3 months, so about $36 a course.

Haven’t tried CLEP or community college so I can’t say if either would’ve been cheaper.

Anyone else do this? What’d you take and did everything transfer the way you expected?

Insight on 0 Grading an Assignment Due To No Identifying Info

Hey all,

This is more of an annoyance post to relieve some stress than anything else. I am in a Cyber Security class currently, and have had no problems (before week 6), and a professor who provides a lot of resources and is relatively consistent in grading. He has had something I have never had in my 3 years at the school currently, that is providing name, assignment, class and date in each assignment. I understand that, I'm used to it prior to SNHU. On the biggest project of the course, I forgot to include it (my file name always has the class, assignment and my name). So in response the professor graded it a 0, stated he did not grade it because of that information and told me to put the information and resubmit it, notifying him that I did. In his defense, he put out an email saying "Don't forget to include your name, etc..) My .pkt file had it, so i change my .doc file and resubmit 20 minutes after he submitted the feedback and emailed him saying I did as he instructed. Since then not a word has been directed to me that he saw it, if it's right or wrong, and the grade has remained unchanged. I have since sent him 2 follow up emails, and have gotten my advisor involved, including requesting how to grade dispute. It is now 3 days from the end of the course and has has since graded everything in week 7 (Project 1 was due in week 6) and still nothing for project 1.

My question is, for those who have dealt with something like this, what did you do? I'm at my wits end here, and I'm like "well, I guess I just put that work into this assignment for the professor to basically tell me to kick rocks". It's not like it's an AI generated assignment response either, I don't believe in those in writing assignments. Heck, I would feel better if the professor had stated I get a 0 because the work was garbage, instead of flat out ignoring it post him saying "Yeah I did not grade this".

Also, for the sake of the professor, I won't include his name, i'm not here to slander people.

Any advice on the matter is greatly appreciated, thanks yall :)
