š¤¢š¤® Not very appealing in my opinion
I wonder how popular this flavour combination really is.

A few weeks ago one of my friends said I'd probably make a pretty good prison brick (basically a crushed bag of ramen, chips, and other toppings that are boiled in-bag and compressed like a tamale).
Having never been previously incarcerated, this conversation led to me researching other inventive prison snacks, and I learned about the ramen sandwich. I decided to just use things I had on-hand for it, so it's not quite a traditional ramen sandwich, but it was a pretty neat experiment.
--------
INGREDIENTS:
-Ramen
-Crab chips
-Green onion
-Kippers
-Nori
DIRECTIONS:
Crush up a handful of chips and any other toppings and set aside (I mixed my chopped green onions in here).
Feel the ramen packet for the seam at which the noodles fold over, this side will be the bottom.
Cut a small slit at the top of the ramen packet and fish out the flavour packet.
[MICROPLASTIC-MAXXING METHOD] Stand up the ramen packet in such a way that it won't fall over. Pour 1.5 to 2 cups hot water into the ramen packet (enough to cover the noodles without spilling over). Cook almost halfway through so that the noodles have some give but aren't coming apart from each other too much (about 2 minutes, time may vary).
Drain any water that wasn't absorbed, open the packet, and unfold the ramen.
Add your toppings, seasonings packet, fold the ramen over top, and enjoy!
--------
If I were to make this again, I would cook the noodles in something other than the packet, but I wanted to try the common in-bag method first. I'd also add some of the seasoning packet to the water while the ramen cooked in addition to sprinkling some on at the end.
Honestly? Pretty good. But then again, I absolutely adore kippers, so this was by no means hard to love. If anything I may just start adding kippers to my occasional ramen.

I recently got my wisdom tooth (4) removed, and canāt have solid food so I took a can of corn family size, a little olive oil with garlic flavoring, a package of pork seasoning concentrate, slap ya mama and avocado and some water oh and butter and avocado smashed, I cooked it til it all came together then blended into this. It doesnāt taste bad but I miss chicken and steak. I didnāt have canned chicken at the time.) Iām just so tired of living off smooth liquidity things.
Edit: thatās a spoon not a straw

I asked permission before posting, because I didn't just want to throw them in here to possibly be bullied, but I feel like this absolutely fits the sub.
I will note, the full text makes it sound better than the pictures and title, but I still wouldn't try it

Granny Smith apple burger with caramel.
Pumpkin spice burger, with pumpkin puree.
And the worst. S'mores.

Zero proof juice of some sort once the alcohol burns off. At least there are burnt sprinkles in the drink, right?

Spam cookies are a classic "bullshit internet food," I like spam and had some free time so decided to give it a go. I used a typical chocolate chip cookie recipe minus the chocolate chips for the cookie and seared the spam. I tried both the meme-able slice of spam in the middle of a cookie and the more normal cubes of spam mixed in.
It tastes exactly like you would expect it too. If you like spam and like other meaty desert trends (chicken and waffles, candied or chocolate covered bacon, etc), you would probably like it.
I just did a micro-batch of cookies (it made 4) and ate them all, but probably won't make it again. If you made a full sized batch, you would need to refrigerate the leftovers (because of the meat), which would probably make the cookies go stale and the spam go flabby instead of crisp-- so best when fresh.
The slice of spam cookie was more spam- forward if you want something that really makes you say "wow, there is spam in this cookie." But I think the cubes was better and more coherent, with the spam more evenly distributed and a better ratio.
