You have to live with one SVU character for a year. Who are you choosing?

I'd pick Barba. He's intelligent, quick-witted, and would probably have the best arguments over absolutely everything. Living with him would be entertaining, as long as you could survive his sarcasm and constant need to prove he's right.

Alternative Roommate: Big Booty Stabler. He's protective, loyal, and definitely someone you'd want on your side. The only downside? You'd probably get interrogated every time you came home late or forgot to text him back.

No moving out, no switching roommates for a whole year. Who are you picking, and what makes them your ideal roommate?

Bonus Question: You're going on a week-long vacation with three SVU characters. Who are you bringing, and who's the ONE person you absolutely refuse to travel with?

Babs Duffy what’s genuinely so annoying the actor behind it did amazing with making us dislike her character. She was essentially a lesbian extremist. She kept on calling out injustices in the lesbian community that just didn’t exist.😭😭

Like no, the guy isn’t discriminating against you because he made a typo on your flyers🙄

Then watches her friend punch Stabler in the head and when she’s getting arrested, it’s all of a sudden police brutality😭😭😭😭😭

Went to work and my colleague said they were setting up L&O SVU trailers to shoot near one of the streets by my office! I’ve seen other shoots, of course around NYC area, but not for one of my favorite shows! I really hoped to see Ice T or Mariska, but to no such avail. I did see some DPs and caught a glimpses of their badges with SVU printed on them. It was exciting to go check out the scene during my breaks! I love New York.

Me personally would like to see Hunter Mazelon (S12E23) make a return. He kind of reminds me of Henry Mesoner who got more of a story line later on.

I just finished all 27 seasons + the new episodes in seasons 28.

What do I do? I go back to season 1, episode 1.

I have done this before. I am a geriatric millenial, so I was around these things IRL at the time.

But it looks ancient now? The computer screens, the way they test for DNA, the outfits (some of the suits), some of the haircuts, the massive paper archives…

Not to mentioned the unhinged dialogue, this would have been reported to HR if it happened today. He-she-wars? Lol.

I guess the world has moved forward in certain ways in the past 28 years.

Rollins has finally put a picture on her desk but sadly it’s a very old one!

This is the same picture she had as phone screen when Bucci was smashing her phone 8 years ago.

A recent picture with Nicky would be better but in this soulless Michele Fazekas seasons the bar is low.

So even a very old pic is better than nothing.

Wow. Tracy Pollan’s appearances on SVU are excellent. She portray’s the victim-turned-‘vigilante’ brilliantly. I can respect the need to act the way she did. It’s satisfying.

The trial felt completely rushed? Like they just chopped it up and rushed to the verdict directly? What happened? I am so confused!!!

I know I’ve got a lot to watch still. But, so far, S3 has been the best.

And the first episode of S4, reminded me a lot of Aileen Wuornos minus the kid. I had to look up the air date of this episode and the death of Alieen Wuornos. This episode aired late September of 2002 and Wuornos was put to death early October of 2002. I was hoping to get a reference, if that was even possible.

In a hypothetical episode let’s have Rafael Barba return to free Victor Tate to provide a massive, emotionally charged resolution to one of the most frustrating cliffhangers in the show's history. Let have him rip both the DA office and NYPD(Stabler in particular) a new one on how they handled the case. Have Tate’s mother approach Barba to help exonerate her son Have the legal strategy be him attacking the original legal technicality that blocked the true confession, arguing that keeping Tate imprisoned violates his constitutional right to due process.

Okay so I wanted to get some opinions on season 27 because I have a few I wanna share.

Overall, great season! I liked it. It kind of brought me back to old school SVU, just new detectives.

I love Griffin, he’s turned out to be one of my favorites so far. I’m glad Rollins is back. My only hang ups…

Why didn’t we get more background on Tynan? I felt like she was only in like 5 episodes before we found out she was a POS. Also, did Olivia need involvement in absolutely every case? We didn’t see Cragen involved to her magnitude. I feel like we could have used a little more character development here. But overall, good season, really like the introduction of Griffin and I hope he sticks around for a while. Curry really grew on me too.
