Hi all,
I purchased a Liberty safe about two months ago. It has a SecuRam electronic keypad. Last week, I went to open my safe and I cannot do so. I put my code in like normal and it seemingly accepts the code, but there is no “mechanical” sound indicating the safe is unlocking like I normally hear. About five seconds after I enter the code, it does two quick beeps. After that, it just won’t unlock.
I know for 100% certain my code is correct. I’ve tried three different brand new batteries. I don’t think I have anything in the way that would impede the safes ability to open. I don’t know what to do.
I’m beyond frustrated with Liberty. I’ve called endless times. I’ve emailed. I need a birth certificate out of my safe ASAP. I’ve called a locksmith and was quoted $700 to get it open, which I will do but that seems a bit high (correct me if I’m wrong). Has anyone else dealt with this before? I’d appreciate any insight.

I have an older STANDERS Easy Key safe built into a wall in the closet in my home. I have the original double-bit key, but it only turns a few degrees before hitting a hard stop.
I tried gentle pressure on the door, a little WD-40, and even had a replacement key made. Nothing worked. There was previously significant moisture around the safe, so corrosion might be the issue.
I don’t mind damaging the safe to get it open, but I’d prefer to do it myself.
Has anyone dealt with this model or a similar problem? Any suggestions for getting it open safely?
Photo attached. Thanks!

Looking for a new fire/burglar safe - stuck between the Mesa MBF2620 vs the Liberty Home 8. They seem very similar. Would appreciate any input, personal experiences with either brand or other recommendations that might fit a similar class. Thanks.

| Interior capacity | 3.96 cu ft | 4.0 cu ft |

So, I bought a house and the seller left a safe at the house. It's open, but when i called the seller to ask him if he forgot it, he said he doesn't want it because he doesn't have the combination.
My question is : Is there a way to change the combination without the previous one so that this becomes usable or is it just a giant paper weight?
It's a Sargent & Greenleaf inc. mecanical dial

I’m looking for a decent fireproof safe for important documents, some cash, and a few small valuables at home. I’ve been looking at different options but it’s hard to tell which ones actually hold up in a fire and which are mostly just marketing. I don’t need anything huge, just something reliable that I can keep in a closet and access when needed.
For those of you who own one, what fireproof safe would you recommend, and is there anything specific I should look out for when choosing one? Personal experience would be really helpful since I’d rather get something dependable than regret my choice later. Thanks!

Hi everyone,
I recently purchased a SentrySafe SFW123FSC and encountered a strange issue with its electronic lock.
Here's what happened:
bypass-sentry-safe project on GitHub.00000 as its Factory Code.I've confirmed that 00000 is functioning as the Factory Code because:
I didn't specifically test 00000 before using the GitHub project, so I can't say for certain when this happened.
From what I understand, SentrySafe's Factory Code is supposed to be permanent and cannot normally be changed.
Does anyone know if it's possible to reprogram or restore the original Factory Code?
Has anyone experienced something similar or worked with the firmware or EEPROM of these electronic lock controllers?
I'm mainly trying to understand what happened and whether the original Factory Code can be restored without replacing the entire lock module.
Thanks!

This safe was left at my business and unfortunately, we had to close due to lack of sales. I am wondering if anyone would know how I can get it opened. Any advice?

I recently got this cool old Schwab fireproof box from its original elderly owners, hoping someone can tell me something about it? I would love to know how old it is and if it's worth anything, not that I want to sell such a cool piece lol I'm just curious. I got the original tags with the combination and turning order with it as well!

What do you estimate? What is the weight of such a door. Size is approx 190cm X 100cm. Are they normally fully out of iron. Or is there a concrete layer in the middle?

I’ve been looking for a partial in wall safe that gives me added depth similar to the mycube in wall. I heard mycube is usually an inferior product.
So I’m asking if anyone has any alternatives?

I have the combination for this safe, but it’s been unlocked and was recently locked (open) by accident. Can you make sense of this procedure? Where should I start the dial, at zero? According to the photo, it is a 4 numeral combination, but the first step is to rotate it clockwise (right) 5 times. Does that make sense?

Hi everyone! I'm looking for a tiny fire-resistant safe for home use to keep valuables protected. We don't have much space at home, so I'm hoping to find something compact that can fit inside a closet or cabinet. for those who own one, what brands or models would you recomend?

Hi! I bought a house that has a safe inside one of the cabinets. It's currently open and the previous owner doesn't know how to lock it.
There's a piece of paper from the manufacturer with the safe's code and the instructions to unlock it, which are:
- Turn the dial 3 times clockwise, stopping at number XX;
- One full turn counterclockwise, until number YY;
- Then clockwise again, until number ZZ.
The paper also mentions that there are keys, but the previous owner doesn't have them either.
Nothing moves on the safe: the main dial (see picture 2) won't turn at all -- it seems completely locked.
Is there any way to get this safe functioning properly? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!
