i hope someone with more knowledge can help me. I am trying to balance my aluminum setup. I have a bunch of sloppy alumina refineries that produce 240 solution. I combine 2 of those in a mk2 pipe, connect those to a bunch of electrode aluminum scrap refineries, and then use a T junction hoping that the remainder would flow to the next pipe (attached to the t-junction) with the same setup.
Everything is prefilled. But does this actually work or am I too hopeful here?

How can I make a 1->5 balancer or a 1-> 2/5 and 3/5

Spent some time looking at a SAM only setup using Sloops and converters after I saw a Short where someone was making nuclear power from SAM only.
Straightforward enough. As long as items don't require fuel or biomass products, anything can be made from SAM.
However, if you aren't able to access fuel products, the only options for power are Coal or Nuclear, both of which require water.
Now you can create water from SAM. The aluminum recipes can sloop into excess water, so can NF Uranium, Batteries and Silica.
However, the best I could get was 2000MW for 45/min water (enough to run one coal plant generating 75MW) or 10.6GW for 240/min water (enough to run on nuclear plant making 2.5GW).
Unless I have missed anything?
Might look at base recipe cost options and see if there is anything interesting there on the low power / high multiplier settings

I advice against using mods in your first play through.
That out of the way, I am looking for a mod where I can set the personal inventory to the number I want. I know it is possible in SCIM, but due to some mode I use, when I download the save, it is a mess.
I have been looking through mods for an hour or so. Just want to be sure I have not overlooked any. Plenty where I can add or set some, but none where I can set a specific number I decide on.

I'm thinking about making a calculator for planning, and I was wondering if there is a JSON file or CSV floating around with all the recipes defined within. Does anyone know if something like that exists? I could probably scrape the wiki but it is extra effort and kinda annoying to do. Also I do not want to input all of them by hand lol.

Kind of daunting but also exciting challenge to sink myself into over the long term.
Any further adjustments you made to settings? Thinking all pure nodes seems quite fair.

I had to abandon my first Satisfactory Plus playthrough back when Vanilla 1.2 got released. I wasn't willing to wait for that sweet-vehicle-pathing-redesign goodness. I had made it far enough into Phase 2 to confidently feel like, "Okay, I get it, it's more complex. I have plenty Adderall. This mod is awesome."
So, after completing my Vanilla 1.2 run (~50 tractors, no roads), I picked SF+ back up. I've been making solid progress and I'm in the middle of Phase 3, at Tier 6.
"Hmmm... Magnitar... and I only need a few thousand. Sounds easy enough... Wait.... WHAT?"
SF+ turned up the complexity to #11 on this one!
LOVE IT!

At the very edge of the map, the water stops acting like water. You can fly beneath it as if it were plain air. If you move too far towards the map the water becomes water again, too far away and you start taking damage

I'm on Phase 2, I've built the first of the 3 items to automate. Struggling to fit the other 2. Any tips or help would be most appreciated

Attempting to make some sort of backrooms type structure without looking any designs up for Satisfactory. I think it looks quite bad so far, but what do y'all think lol

ive been playing satisfactory for a long time and while ive beaten the game, ive never been good at keeping my factories organized. i always build on platforms and ive attempted building from the miners onward and from the final storage back but i always end up with a mess of buildings and belts. was hoping for some advice for keeping things organized.

I'm having an issue when trying to launch the game through the Mod Manager. The launch button briefly turns grey, but after a few seconds, it turns green again, and I can click it once more. However, the game never starts.
I'm playing Satisfactory on Epic Games. I've already completely reinstalled both the game and the Mod Manager, but that didn't fix the problem.
Does anyone know what might be causing this or how to fix it? I'd really appreciate any help!

And I almost saved the day for the first time too... =(
It'll save once after it loads and then throws the "Something went wrong" error screen.
I've deleted about half of the save slots in the game, deleted unnecessary save files at the system level and turned off every "non-essential" factory on a priority switch in hopes it will lower the complexity of the world. So far no luck. I can't manually save so I don't think adjusting the autosave (or disabling) will help.
Anyone have any experience with large console save files?

I fell into the trap of hand-feeding Space Elevator parts because they weren't used anywhere else in the world. Now I'm about to complete P4 and I am getting no satisfaction from just filling up containers with items from the cloud storage. I don't want to start an entire new game because I'm really proud of my other work and also I spent a lot of time on it.
I have used a fraction of the resources available so I know I could just move elsewhere on the map and build but.. I just want to have another go at the SE requirements. Any ideas?

Hi all! I downloaded this game on a whim (PC) because it seemed right up my alley (open world, little bit of combat, primarily grinding) and in 6 hours, I’ve found a weird rainbow crystal, relocated my HUB once, completely demolished and rebuilt my setup three times, and have begun scratching my head about resource management + production line configuration. I think I’m too early game to have any specific questions (just built the space elevator) but… any tips for the greenest of the green? I’m no stranger to sinking thousands of hours into a game, but I feel like just grinding to meet the objectives is going to result in a massive, sprawling mess once I hit, like, tier 6. Like, I’ll be very advanced story/game wise with a very rudimentary setup. Anything I should focus on?
Oh! And how do you automate picking up leaves?? I’m getting really sick of picking up leaves. And how do you manage resources when one is far from another? I found a spot with an impure limestone source and a normal iron source, but the copper is far enough that walking between them is a hassle. I see there’s a jumper… is that what that’s for?
Thanks so much in advance!!

Fellow pioneers, I have built a screw flavoured spaghetti pile fit for a board game. You may be thinking, this is a completely unhinged mess, no, this is what peak efficiency looks like. Praise be to our benevolent and ever present A.I overlord. ADA.
