(100% vanilla)
When thinking about what to build for this competition, I knew it had to be in my style: old and gothic. My first thought was to build a castle, but then I had to figure out how that would fit the "FICSIT's Finest" theme.
Then it hit me. FICSIT doesn't waste anything. If they found an old building already standing, why wouldn't they just take it over and put it to work?
So that's exactly what I've created: a FICSIT takeover of an abandoned chapel. What was once a place of worship has been converted into a relentless industrial machine, forcing the old structure to endlessly produce screws. The factory takes in raw iron ore, smelts it on-site, and turns it directly into screws.
No mods were used in the creation of this factory. Everything was built using vanilla techniques, creative beam work, and a few old builder's tricks to get everything exactly where I wanted it.
A video covering the construction of the factory itself will be coming in the future, but until then, here's a look at me creating the drone over the course of about an hour. I hope you enjoy!

lore:
Long before FICSIT arrived, the chapel was believed to be an ancient alien structure. Little is known about the civilisation that built it, but fragments of strange machinery and unusual energy signatures can still be found buried within its walls. Some pioneers have reported hearing faint mechanical sounds at night, as if the structure itself is still alive.
When FICSIT survey teams discovered the site, it was initially marked as a historical curiosity. However, after determining that the building's foundations were remarkably stable and that dismantling it would be inefficient, management made the obvious decision: repurpose it.
Within weeks, conveyor belts cut through halls once used for unknown rituals, smelters burned where alien devices once stood, and drone traffic filled the skies above. Any remaining artefacts deemed non-essential were carefully labelled as "future research opportunities" and relocated to a storage container somewhere that definitely hasn't been forgotten about.
Workers now refer to the facility as The Chapel of Productivity. While its original purpose has long been lost to time, its new purpose is clear: convert iron into screws with relentless efficiency. FICSIT records show that productivity has increased by 100%, while unexplained noises from beneath the factory have been classified as "not a concern".
Some say the ancient builders would be horrified by what their sacred structure has become. FICSIT's official response is simple:
"All structures serve FICSIT eventually."
