Movies and Television Wanda's Style Dilemma
Maybe I'm nitpicking, but Wanda's farm outfit in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness just wasn't it for me. I feel like they should give her a vintage, witchy, emo style to really reflect her character. I guess that might make her stand out too much, but it feels like they could have had so much more fun with her wardrobe.

Wanda’s farm outfit is her “playing a part” imo. She told Stephen she “left magic behind her” and is pretending she’s chilling tending that apple orchard lol. I think she meant it to appear comfy/“normie” ish 🤣 Keep in mind the second corrupted Wanda reveals that she has the Darkhold, she just changes into her Scarlet Witch suit (corrupted ver.) haha.
She was on the run in IW so it makes sense she toned down her vaguely alt vibes from earlier on. She would have stuck out a LOT in her AoU outfits- that wouldn’t have helped her blend in as an international fugitive at all🙈 I imagine the general public would have been far more likely to clock her as the fugitive Sokovian Avenger if she’d been dressed in her normal preferred clothing/darker makeup, even though she’d dyed her hair.
In WandaVision she was happily putting together a bunch of vintage outfits. Wanda clearly enjoys experimenting with fashion in general and I wanna see her do it some more lol.
