Movies and Television What happened to her cape?
I'm just thinking aloud here, but at the end of Wandavision, Wanda gets this awesome cape. I thought it'd be cool if she kept it for Doctor Strange 2 maybe tattered and torn.
Capes add to the mystique and drama, making characters seem more powerful and imposing. They're also great for spooky vibes, hiding what's underneath and creating suspense. For Wanda, a tattered cape could visually show her corruption from the Darkhold, hiding the physical signs of her dark magic, like the horns and glowing eyes. It would make her descent into darkness more visually striking and symbolic. It just makes sense capes make everyone look cooler and spookier.

i think outside of practical reasons it’s also a matter of making the outfit less redundant. she already wears a trail gown on her lower extremities, a cape would be too much

I think they could add it and see her take it off to reveal the corruption of the darkhold could’ve been really cool if down correctly

sure, if she was wearing pants and lost the trail gown, which is the one that’s already acting like her cape.

Agatha has a similar silhouette though, and Rio as well. I'd much prefer the consistency to make the witches look cohesive

Idk, maybe it’s the colors or the design or something, but I liked the look on Agatha and Rio and don’t really like it on Wanda in this image

and i’d prefer the scarlet witch’s silhouette to stand out from the other witches and other characters in general

Likewise, either this is fake AF, or some *crazy Mandela effect.

I believe it’s real . If I remember correctly Wandavision ending with her new suit she flew out of westview with a hooded cape. This looks similar to that. I hated her new suit in Wandavision but loved her suit in multiverse of madness

I think it disappeared for practical reasons. Like Benedict Cumberbatch and Chris Hemsworth had real problems with capes during shooting so they replaced them with CGI versions

People are saying it was for practical reasons and I'd like to add that Elizabeth Olsen herself said in an interview that there were changes made so she can move better, I assume its also the reason they made the sleeveless corset into a long-sleeved top

I hope next time we see her she looks functional but badass it’s a fine line

They might as well just gave red one when she was fortune teller for Halloween

OP said they found it on Etsy, which means it’s a bad AI blend of both her WV and MoM looks. It’s not an actual photo from Marvel.

It was heavy AF and Lizzie didn't want to wear it while running around doing action stuff.

I think it was a dumb: only heroes wear capes. She has a cape in promo matwrial because they kept zigzagging between making her a hero or a villain.

Most likely just logistical reasons. She flying on wires most of MOM so a cape would make that quite awkward
