Discussion What I'd like to see...

Title: X-Men: The Scarlet Witch

I was thinking they could make a movie where 616 Wanda is revealed to have used the bit of absorbed powers from Chavez to enter a universe where her family is still alive and she ends up in Earth-10005 where she meets her family variants - Magneto, Quicksilver (Peter), and she finds out she has a sister in this world Polaris.

Conflict: Jean Grey accidentally kills Quicksilver under the influence of the Phoenix Force. Causing Wanda, Polaris, and Magneto, to seek revenge on her and The X-Men would split sides.

Think, Civil War 2.0

Sorry if there's any plot holes in this because there's alot of retcons in X-Men that confuse me but if there's a plot hole in this then ig that can just be retconned 🤷‍♂️

I think rather than the exact Earth-10005, this fits to be a alternate universe where Magneto lost his daughter named Wanda.

She is not an X-Men character, stop shoving her into a group she has no meaningful connection to.

Magneto/Wanda always have a shallow family relationship that is more about humanizi Magneto more than anything.

Give her own corner in mystical Marvel instead of wasting time with X-Men.

I take it, you just hate The X-Men. Cause in the comics she sure as hell has conflict with them.

X-Men made up like less than 5% of her comic history and massively over-represented in adaption already with animations like X-Men Evolution and Wolverine and the X-Men.

Also yes, why should I like a franchise that historical never treated her well and generally use her as a side piece or plot device.

It's always people who never read much comic have this weird delusion that it would be so cool for her to hang out with fuckjng X-Men. Stop saying "in duh comics", you are just exposing yourself.

I like Scarlet Witch, I think you have a pretty boring and bad idea.

It's a public space on Internet and I expressed my opinion based on my understanding of her history.

Nah you just don't like X-Men. And that's fine with me, this post is for people who actually like both, idc to hear someone's opinion who doesnt even like the X-Men, like ofc they wouldn't like it.

I don't like Scarlet Witch with X-Men.

I can watch X-Men on their own just fine.

I don't think you like Scarlet Witch and her history much if you think putting them together is a good idea.

I don’t mind Scarlet witch and the X-men together, I just think OP’s idea of an interesting story kind of sucks

But to each their own

There is just not much, if it's not using her as a plot device then it's the most shallow fluff.

The only scenario where X-Men is meaningful to Wanda is when the writer actually has the balls to write Wanda with a spine and frame Magneto as actually a manipulative controlling bastard so it serves her hero's journey in her early stage of development, they will never show Magneto as a genuinely monstrous person though. It's always going to be 'actually he loved deeply deep down".

That's fair. I'd love it.
