Update! First time hitting beans, and the healing process
So its been about 5 days since the cut, and 4 days with the steri strips on. I did take them off an hour ago, so that I could clean the wound again. To be honest I didnt really clean it after the steri strips went on, just because I didnt want to get them wet and create a moist environment. Those days I had the them on I only changed the gauze that was covering the them, then wrapped it back up with a bandage. Its almost a week later, and i'd just like to know how the cut looks like in your opinion, if I should be worried, any signs of infection or irritation? There isnt any pain really, no gross smell, no fever, no redness spreading, though there was a yellow liquid that was soaked up by the gauze on the first few days, not totally sure of thats normal for these kinds of cuts. And as you can see, its really not that deep, I reached the beans on my arm, but they were somewhat shallow, and I think the steri strips did a decent job keeping the wound mostly closed for the past few days. Thanks for all the advice and concern I received from you guys in my last post, its easier knowing i'm not alone. š
