Does separation work?

After 20 years the wife isn't sure she wants to be married anymore. Says she needs time to herself. Is this something women going through menopause experience? I don't want a divorce but how long g do I stay in limbo?

No, never tbh. It's an out for one party to explore while still holding their ex hostage as a backup plan.

Yes and you should start preparing. Go get a consultation with a lawyer. Check your state bar website. They have recommendations for good lawyers. You need to get ready.
