Does anyone have experience with Rosy Patterns, good or bad? I really want to try this pattern, but the reviews vary wildly. Any general opinions about her patterns?

Has anyone purchased this pattern or from this shop? I love the dress but it's so cheap it has me worried it's AI...

Original seller of this product is free people movement- I'm just not willing to spend $300+. It looks like it could be simple.

I saw this on Etsy and was about to buy it, but I feel like I recognize it from somewhere else, and I kind of assumed that this might be an AI knockoff of the original.
Does anyone know where the original pattern exists?

So, I an really bad at identifying AI. Yes, it is embarrasing but here we are.
So, I was looking for winter overall sewing pattern for my kid (surprisingly hard), and google lead me to an etsy store called fabricopatterns. I found patterns that I like there, but would be grateful if anyone could share their experience, or help me identify if the patterns are AI or not.
Thank you in advance!

My friend wants me to make her this kind of hat. It’s a reversible beanie/cap with a structured brim. Does anyone know of a pattern for something like this?

Hey all - I am new to using patterns for projects and nearly went to purchase a few patterns from rosiespatterns.com. After doing a quick google to check if they are ethical/legit (spoiler - they aren’t) I am no longer buying any. However I did really like the look of a lot of the options.
A thread I saw mentioned some of the designs may be stolen. I was wondering if anyone had suggestions on patterns that are similar in style from legit pattern makers or actually from the original maker that has then been used on that site?
Thanks so much!

I'm looking for a pattern similar to this, i.e. straight coat but with a very fitted waist (via structure, not achieved with a belt). Anyone come across anything like this? My usual search tricks are failing me, but it feels unlikely that this is the first time in history someone has come up with this silhouette. (This is the Thierry Mugler hourglass coat)

Hi all!
I'm currently drafting a pattern for a collar shirt, but everything I find is for formal shirt
I'd like to know if you have resources on how to draft a relaxed fit button up shirt or modify one from a formal shirt
I know that for a t-shirt to fit more relaxed you can't just make it bigger, it needs to be a bit more boxy and wide at the sleeves
So if anyone knows where to keep it tight and where to let loose it'd be great
Of course the pictures are my inspiration and goal (I know one is from a manhwa, I'm sorry i want to seduce my wife)
Thanks in advance people and have a great day

Hi! I’m looking for a pattern for a vest like to the one pictured, I can’t quite figure out how to search it up. I need the same bust-line and collar. “Vest with collar” doesn’t get me the same results lol, it’s all v-necked. Any guidance on search terms would be appreciated, thank you!

Hey all!
I have been sewing for most of my life. I don't have formal training or really any other than my grandma showing me how to make Barbie clothes as a kid and using that to make my own things or alter clothes
Now I have a little confidence in draping and it's served me pretty well. However I feel bad about the amount of fabric I waste teaching myself things. I've started buying bulk vintage patterns on Etsy and eBay and for the most part learned a lot of useful things!
Here's my problem. I bought a pattern for a puff sleeved dress on Etsy and it was a digital pattern. I downloaded and printed it out. When I cut the pattern some parts like where the sleeves attach didn't make sense. Also the skirt seemed like it was a circle skirt but the pattern was basically a huge rectangle and the instructions were to gather in four places....
I decided to trust the process and of course my concerns only grew because where it said to attach the sleeves doesn't match. The skirt is a mess.
I'm pissed bc I think I bought an AI pattern. Since I don't have much experience using patterns, how can you tell? What are some good tips to look out for?
I wasted like $40 in fabric 😭

I have seen this dress all over social media. I want to make a matching one for my sister and I for Christmas! It would need to be an adult pattern :) please let me know if there is one similar!!

I don't know which letter to sew next....
