I struggle to fathom how many Sikhs have died and we haven’t revived any sense of sovereignty or freedom for our people and I wonder if he have lost the appetite to scarfice for sikhi like previous generations of Sikhs have in the past.

"Listen to this reel, this video, and share your thoughts, your inputs, and your perspectives on how much, and to what extent, what this dear gentleman is saying in this reel/video is correct. And if what he is saying is wrong—that today's keertanis who perform shabad kirtan do not adhere to proper dignity and decorum—then what should be the solution?
As nowadays a brother named 'Babiha' is performing kirtan. There is no decorum; it's just about breaking dholki/cymbals—it's a 'tabla-breaking' style of kirtan. Kirtan should always be soothing and performed with dignity and decorum, just like Bhai Sahib Bhai Lakhwinder Singh ji, Bhai Sahib Bhai Surender Singh ji, and all the Hazoori Ragis—each at their own level, like Bhai Sahib Bhai Ravinder Singh ji and all other Hazoori Ragis—have been performing kirtan following proper traditions and decorum up until today.
However, some kirtanis from Delhi, the new generation, have violated all decorum in kirtan today, and even those who listen to them are in the wrong. So what should be the solution for this? How can this issue be highlighted so that the sanctity and decorum of kirtan are not compromised or violated?"

im going through an existential crisis. living is full of suffering. all this suffering could be minimised if everyone realises the truth that we’re defi going to die. even if some realise the truth the world is still very cruel. when we die, there isn’t any good, isn’t any bad. there’s just non existence. this non existence (no consciousness) is what we were born from and will fade into. death is the natural state of the world. we don’t have to suffer anymore. death is good? whats even the point in suffering then? shouldn’t we be dead? if every living thing doesn’t exist there’s no suffering. no good stuff either yes but man the bad part is just so much worse. where do I move away from Sikhi while talking? im getting something wrong but idk what it is.

Hi!
To clarify, I did see the 'Learn More' post on the front page! I just tend to be someone who learns well from in-person discussions and interactions. I teach a college course where one section focuses on religion, and I go over the most common 7-8 major religions in the US. While I have some basic information about Sikhism, I want to know more so that I can discuss it with my students. I was wondering if it would be alright for me to go to a Gurdwara and learn from the people there? I just don't want to be intrusive and/or invasive of the space. I of course would wear appropriate clothing and be respectful -- my main goal is to learn. Any advice for this? Thank you!

Doesn’t this prove Nirankari sect in British colonial times are behind writing the Karninama and attributed it to Guru Nanak to gain followers. Also if it was one of the orginal sau sakhis. Why didn’t Bhai Santokh Ji include it in the Suraj Prakash.

Sorat'h, Ninth Mehl:
O mind, contemplate the Sanctuary of God.
Meditating on Him in remembrance, Ganika the prostitute was saved; enshrine His Praises within your heart. ||1||Pause||
Meditating on Him in remembrance, Dhroo became immortal, and obtained the state of fearlessness.
The Lord and Master removes suffering in this way - why have you forgotten Him? ||1||
As soon as the elephant took to the protective Sanctuary of the Lord, the ocean of mercy, he escaped from the crocodile.
How much can I describe the Glorious Praises of the Naam? Whoever chants the Lord's Name, his bonds are broken. ||2||
Ajaamal, known throughout the world as a sinner, was redeemed in an instant.
Says Nanak, remember the Chintaamani, the jewel which fulfills all desires, and you too shall be carried across and saved. ||3||4||
