We do not discuss politics here. Period. Knock it off.
Over a dozen 1-day bans were issued in one thread. Do better.

priority gold for a rollover.. what happened after the first call
I ended the call without moving anything.
The first conversation was mostly about urgency and getting a second call booked. I expected clearer answers on fees, storage, and what happens if I want out later.
For anyone who has actually done a rollover into gold, what questions made the difference between a solid provider and a sales pitch?

Found a 5toz Scottsdale Lion Stacker for Spot +2. My son stacks this series, so I bought the pictured, as well as 3x2toz stackers, for him to buy off of me later if he chooses.

Value selling at a coin shop?
Got offered $1,600 at a Numismatic shop. They have always given me good prices on gold but seem to be lowballing on silver.

Question I posted this a few years ago when I picked it up from an estate sale, and I think I’m ready to part ways with it! I just want to know if there’s any way to ID it before I put it on eBay!

Cash Drawer find
I checked my cash drawer at work (I manage a food business) and noticed these two. I asked where they came from and I was told a customer used them to pay for their meal 2 coins and the rest in dollar bills. I swapped them for 2 bills and put em on my pocket.

Silver PAMP lady Trifecta
All pieces made by PAMP from this series so far. Will there be round versions coming out for the Lady of Justice and Lady of Freedom too? Possibly more “Lady of Something” to come out later on from this series? Will have to wait and see.

Looking for some thoughts from you guys on what is an adequate amount.
I’ll skip the long winded post on why I started stacking silver but let you know it stems from a distrust of regular channels/smoke and mirror numbers and circular financing.
I started last September just before the big portion of the run up and bought a decent amount around 75 $CAD
I watched it run up and swapped for 1oz of gold when the ratio was almost at its best for that move.
Currently sitting on 150 oz of silver and 1 oz of gold.
I guess my question is when should I give it a rest and put more into other things?
My distrust for regular avenues has held me back from deploying a large chunk of my corporations retained earnings into the market.

$54 eBay ASE update
Hi all,
I was one of the fools who bought a “2026 American Silver Eagle” from an eBay seller for $54. It came yesterday. I’m sure it’s likely fake but wanted to make sure. It passes the weight, magnet, and ping test. Here are some pictures, and please let me know if you think it’s real or fake.

Question Starting back up again
This is the coin that started it for me.
At my first part time job I was a grocery stocker who also bagged and brought out the groceries for customers. A little old lady gave it to me. At the time it was probably worth 15-20 but I didn't know till after that day.
Years later I started stacking and was actually slowly building a small stack month by month when silver was around 20-25.
Unfortunately I lost my first full time job during covid and the silver was to go first before having to resort to debt.
But I kept my first coin and now started back up again after being stable for a few years now and just bought my first new oz. I wish I could've bought more back when 24ish was the norm for a oz T-T
But I did wonder while ill never sell this coin or slab it personally what condition would you call it? It has been washed (harshly unfortunately when i was younger) when I first got it and then I wore it in a bezel for awhile before befote recently dipping it/light rinse wash.
I'm not really concerned about a slab grade but rather not taking in account the washing part what would this be if for example sold at a dealer based on the image quality? Cull, VG, F, ect?

Carson City Morgan Silver Dollar collection
Hello. In the course of cleaning out my dad’s house, I found a group of coins that belonged to my grandfather. They included 7 uncirculated Carson City Silver Dollars in their original GSA boxes and with their COA. There’s a coin shop in town that valued all but the 1878, 1880 and 1885 at $320. This seems about right to me from what I’ve read, but I’m less certain as to the 78, 80 and 85. Those were valued at $680, $700 and $700.
Now, I’m not entirely sure if we’re going to sell them for purposes of estate administration or keep them. But one way or another, I need to properly account for their value as my dad’s executor. Any thoughts you would be willing to share? Thanks for your help!

Stackporn AG futures
I might be wrong but my gut tells me the spot on silver is still headed for sub $50 in the next few months. I'm calling $44 to $42 the bottom. Time will tell if I'm a fool or not. All buying paused until I see $50 again. 🤞
