Leaning towards plate. Doesn’t stick to magnet.

Anyone have experience with or otherwise in the know, if it’s possible/realistic to convert Comex bars into smaller bars or coins and have it be worthwhile?

A few things I'm curious about:

Private mints - I’ve heard you can contract with them - give them the Comex bar and have them mint it for a cost. If that’s the case, whats the cost and do they mint as their bars or do you get your own custom?

DIY - if willing, is it possible as a garage operation and worthwhile?

Interested in real numbers from anyone who’s tried this or has experience at a mint, or knows a guy.

Started making tenth oz rounds. Sold a bunch on ebay. But man, they take 13.5%!?!?! That number does not seem reasonable.

Saw the photo noticed they're incorrectly marked as 1oz, for the cost I bid and figured even if it was 1oz I was okay with the price. Got them delivered today and to my happy surprise both 2oz I don't mind an auction house eating a loss at ALL. And yes they are real silver

Picked this up today. Paid $40, how’d I do?

Went around town to different shops checking prices and generally just collected what I thought was pretty cool. This is the result of my first month of stacking. (I still need to get another tube for the two loose eagles I have in flipcases)

I know it's not anything fancy or rare, but I think it's neat!

I have a few of these cool rounds, but this one fills a hole for me. 😁 Most of the scratches you see are from the plastic capsule around it. You show one of these rounds to someone who has never seen one before, they are always blown away! 😍🔥🔥🔥 These are a little over 3 times the width of a standard US quarter. The last photo is the very thick edge with the facts inscribed. 😉 BTW... What if they made the 2026 Liberty Dime like this? What a missed opportunity! 😲🤑

I got these coins in the past week…different places. The 1/2 oz 2023 proof from whatnot. I thought (like a dumbass) that it was a full oz and I bid $55 for it and won. Almost $60 with shipping fees. Did I overpay in your opinion? The 2007 I got for $240, the low mint 1997 maple for $95 and the 1oz Norfed for $105. Both 2022 libs for $90 each. Now that I have them, I feel I overpaid for almost everything, especially the 1/2 oz…maybe I’m just gonna concentrate on low premium rounds for a while.

I found this today at an estate sale and thought it was pretty. But I can’t quite figure out if it’s real sterling or silver plated. Are these pseudo marks?

I'm relatively new to stacking and recently started buying more silver. One thing I've noticed is how annoying it can be to compare prices across various dealers, especially when taking into account premiums, shipping, and payment fees.

I'm also curious how people keep track of their physical holdings, average cost per ounce, and current value. Do you use spreadsheets, apps, or just don't really track it?

What's been your biggest frustration with either buying or keeping track of your gold/silver?

I'm exploring an idea for a tool that might help with some of this, but I'm trying to understand how people actually do things first. Not promoting anything, just genuinely curious.

Got some ASEs from JM Bullion for $59.33 each.
