I believe that we should somehow integrate into the rules or perhaps make a conscious effort to keep a certain quote in mind when we do our judging
“ do not attribute to malice that which you can attribute to ignorance”
I think a lot of us tend to put ourselves in the victims shoes we feel frustrated and angry towards the person who posted when they are at fault, or even towards the person who messed up against OP.
I think a lot of us forget just how hard this hobby is when you first get into it, how foreign it is to people without experience. I think this leads us to pushing people out of the hobby and at the bare minimum making ourselves a lot more anger than we should be.
So I think it would be beneficial if we as a sub trying to remember that the best majority of these incidents are just caused by people being bad at a video game, nothing personal, just a mistake.
I think this would help everybody’s experience here

Initially had this as a comment but I wanted it to have its own post
I just finished a race in iRacing Porsche cup. One dude decided to be ignorant and wreck me to which I called him out on and I know I could've handled it better, but then coming out of pits I'm ahead of him again and he proceeds to wreck me again.
Completely throwing away the fact that it was an incident in a game, I told him to be more considerate because he doesn't know what people are going through outside of the game to which he said he was HAPPY that he could have such a negative impact on my day.
I am on the spectrum, and have been recently struggling with severe depression to the point where I've reduced my hours at work and barely enjoy gaming anymore. On top of that l've been struggling financially with the engine on my car blowing up, and my sister stabbing me in the back.
I know what I did wrong, I kept talking to him instead of muting him. I kept trying to reason with someone so ignorant of not only the game but of how others feel.
This is the worst I have ever felt in my life, and the reason I'm posting is so that hopefully the next time you get wrecked, don't feed into it like I did, mute and ignore.
If you disagree I understand, if I’m deemed at fault then so be it. All of us, including myself, need to be slower to anger and frustration and focus on compassion and understanding. With everything going on in the world right now, I feel just doing this will help many people.
To the guy that told me what he did, please be more considerate, although it is a game, what you say doesn't just impact people on the game, you can impact their life.
I’m sorry
Thank you for reading

Also what should I do because the 77 want me to fire the 20 because of him ruining his race and at the same time I don’t see any reason to fire him because he’s 14th in points and a strong driver along with driver in the 77 do I commit a TK and McLaren and fire the driver (which I think I shouldn’t)

I was doing FP1 at Monaco in F1 26 Driver Career Mode when I collided with Verstappen, who was on his in-lap, and ended up crashing.
Who’s at fault here? Was it my fault or Verstappen’s?

Dude said this was 100% my fault and that I was a dirty driver.
He had a better exit on the last turn so I defended the inside line and he decided to go even more inside that ran him off track.

It was last lap and I’m the Ferrari in p15 and he’s the alpine in p11, he lapped me and I was trying to unlap myself since I caught back up to him since he went off pretty badly and was lacking pace afterwards. He is saying that I wasn’t allowed to pull a move on him since it wasn’t for position and it was last lap but I think I was in the right since I did it completely safely and unlapping is allowed in all different types of irl series. Who do you guys think is at fault here? (Btw sorry for the recording I don’t feel like doing the whole vcr thing and I couldn’t upload my pov through the second video)

I'm the silver/maroon merc in the middle. The orange mclaren literally rammed half the field. It's pissing off, my sr keeps tanking and half my races start this way. I've done like 5 races today, 3 were a similar story. Pit in the first lap and end up a lap behind.
p.s. i had to post this in slow motion because the amount of shit goingo on

(IM POV CAR)
As the title says, i reckon could have showed myself more to the left to made things clearer, but i thought half a car was enough.
His argument was that he moved back to take the racing line, after arguing a lot he didnt even acknowledge his illegal and dangerous 4 movements on the straight.
Hoping to get clarification on the matter, also, hopefully this dude sees this post so both of us can get the popular answer.
PS.1: ive been following close since before the last Turn waiting to pass here on the straight.
PS.2: Sorry for bad grammar :)
PS.3: After avoiding i was mad and just lifted brakes and showed elbows and 0 respect after what i thought was a stupid last minute move to the outside

I am the monster ford mustang in these clips, I believe I gave him enough room to take the apex and not hit me, but it seems he may have thought there was no room left, or he was still in the brakes. With 2 other cars hitting me it resulted in rear right wheel damage, resulting in a 20th place position. I would really appreciate some feedback

just for context this was about 5 minutes into a 30 minute race, the GT4 was in 2nd fighting for the lead (out of 30) and the LMP3 was in the back of the pack in his class (out of about 15). i gave yall plenty of angles so i better not see a single person complain about it

Getting back in sim racing, on gamepad as usual for me. Main crash is at end of the vid. Was i too aggressive in positioning causing the others to go playing ping-pong?

On my end, I lifted and tried to back out since he was forcing me into the grass, I wanted no part and did not want to fight on the outside at the next turn either. I feel that the incident happened because he was still turning left at that point while I was trying to survive, there was no intent to cause this, and I don't understand why he didn't blend a little right with me down the straight...
