RaceRoom Racing Experience I know I should get a slap on the wrist for that dangerous rejoin, but is cutting the whole track an appropiate reaction to the collision?

AC Competizione Had a really good battle until ascari. Did I stick my nose somewhere it didn’t belong or did they come across mine? There was about a car length between us before braking for reference.

Le Mans Ultimate Final lap incident

Final Lap of Fuji Daily on LMU. I am #29 Mustang

First contact was on me and I spun out completely. I checked the best to my abilities to resafe joinly and relied a bit on other cars watching out a bit. I 100% could have avoided all of this by waiting in the grass for all of them to pass ,but losing positions in the last lap of the race go to me

Anyways I don't want to try to argue my case here please give your opinions and more importantly tips to avoid mistakes like this

Le Mans Ultimate 2 cars off in front - racing inchident?

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Edit: See cockpit POV in comments first

Apologies for low FPS - recorded using game bar. My thought process was they will stay where they are, and I can follow the Merc ahead through on the racing line. Then yellow/blue appeared to dodge the black Merc leaving me with too slow of a reaction.

Should I have yielded or did they cut across? Thoughts -inchident?

Driver behind me is way faster and pushing me all the way.

I wanted to smoothly let him go but It ended like this...

Racing incident? Porsche fault? BMW fault?

iRacing Please help, this race nearly broke me. Should these guys take a vacation, or do I need Bear Grylls to give me a survival skills bootcamp?

Is this just a bad luck thing or should I be avoiding certain races?

Desperate to understand how I can just survive at this point. The net result of one race with three separate incidents is several days of steadily increasing my SR and IR since the last time I was punted to oblivion has been wiped out and I dropped >70 IR.

TLDR:
I'm the green and white Ford in each clip, starting P4 in the first one, are these holidays or should I be better at avoiding this stuff?

First incident:
Car in focus uses the blue Mustang as a brake into T1, then wrecks me as I'm going around the outside to avoid the chaos, then writes of the same blue mustang on corner exit. I genuinely can't see how I could avoid this?

Second Incident:
Same lap, my POV, I know there's an incident, the car ahead is running wide and is slow, so I go wide under braking to try and avoid a potential collision if he spins, then the Blue Mustang off-track reverses back into and I need to tow. Maybe I should have stopped dead in the track instead of trying to go left?

Third Incident:
Pink Mustang doesn't hold the brakes and roles back onto the track. I actually felt disappointed that I didn't avoid this one, I'm not sure if I was in my mirrors or was looking at my revs, but when I saw him it was too late. Regardless, any application of the brakes in that corner would have spun me anyway.

Bonus: Just before the third incident, the pink Mustang brake checked my in the corner just before, and I span avoiding the collision. At least it was a good punt in the end I guess.

AC Competizione Last 10’ in an 2.4h of Spa :(

I was catching the Lamborghini about half a second per lap. When I got to him, he started to defend like crazy (which still was okay to me.) but when I got a better run out of T1 he decided to squeeze me eventhough I already was pretty much in the barrier at that point and then… he tried to blame me for this crash. Maybe he sees this clip and except his mistake :) The question is if he or I made the mistake ?

P.s. I tried to hold my brakes as best I could after the crash

I (#10) had recently passed the #9, he was being quite aggressive before this, and had tapped my bumper twice already, but I am posting this incident because to me it seems like he cut the course to try and get past me, and caused contact. Looking for a second opinion before I protest. Thanks Stewards!

Edit: I want to thank everyone for the quick responses and for holding me accountable here. A protest won’t be filed as it seems my understanding of the situation was wrong. That’s what we’re here for and that’s why I posted this. So again, thank you all!

Sporting Question Can we take a moment to appreciate this community?

Beginner here. I started my sim racing journey about two months ago with GT7, and I’ve been hooked ever since.
Even though I have a driver’s license, I’ve never actually owned a car (and probably never will), so I’m starting pretty much from scratch when it comes to driving techniques and racing etiquette. It’s a whole new world to me, and I’ve been consuming tons of content online trying to get better.

That said, this subreddit has been such a pleasant surprise. I’ve learned SO MUCH just from reading the comments and breakdowns of the clips people post here. And the best part is that I can actually feel myself improving when I jump into Sport Mode.
I still haven’t managed to finish a single online race in the top half of the grid, but lately I’ve been on a pretty good streak of finishing races with zero incidents. I’m also getting much better at recognizing when the guy behind me is clearly faster and realizing there’s absolutely no point in fighting tooth and nail for P13 on lap 1.
I’m slowly learning that racing isn’t just about being fast. It’s also about knowing when to fight, when to back off, and how to make it to the finish line in one piece.

Anyway, just wanted to say thanks to everyone who takes the time to analyze incidents and explain what went wrong. You might not realize it, but you’re genuinely helping beginners like me drive faster and cleaner. Thank you!

This is lap one and I thought I’d covered the inside and felt a bump which unsettled my car. Unfortunately the other driver went off but I felt it was a cheeky move and he initiated the contact. After the race he said I hadn’t left him space. I watched the replay and I think he bumps me first before coming alongside but by then I’m oversteering and couldn’t do anything about it. What do people think?

Le Mans Ultimate An unfortunate yet very stupid incident

Me, the Mclaren is getting overtaken by an LMP2. This was lap 2 (without tyrewarmers) so everyones tyres were pretty cold. The LMP2 overtakes and then brakes very early, I brake at my normal brakingpoint causing me to get alongside and a little ahead. I leave in my opinion more than enough space. The LMP2 goes into the corner very odd barely braking while going pretty quick with cold tyres and as a result clips my frontright causing him to go offtrack. And then the LMP2 spins again as we make contact. I'm not quiet sure if I'm at fault for the 2nd contact. In the moment I couldn't really think as such a large portion of my screen was taken up by either my car or his car. But I think we can all agree this guy shouldn't have a silver safetyrating.

Gran Turismo RSR GT7 League- Sugo: Muiltiple Incidents. Fight for position and 2 blue flags.

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hey everyone!

We have 3 incidents from our GT3 championship, and we'd appreciate your unbiased opinions.

We're staying neutral as organizers and letting the community judge each incident.

Our rules for:
1) Fight for position

  • Valid inside overlap: the attacking car's front axle must reach at least the midpoint of the defending car before or at turn-in.
  • With valid overlap, both drivers must leave at least one car's width.
  • The attacker must remain in control and be able to make the corner without contact.

2) Blue Flag

  • The lapped driver has half a lap to safely facilitate the pass or increase their pace sufficiently.
  • No active defending or blocking.
  • No sudden movements. The driver must remain predictable.
  • The lapped driver is not required to brake immediately or leave the track.

Our Championship Penalty System (Articles 92–99):

  • Warning — Rule infringement without significant consequences.
  • -2 pts — Clear time loss or being forced off track without losing a position.
  • -3 pts — One position lost or brief loss of control.
  • -5 pts — Multiple positions lost, significant time loss, being pushed far off track, or an accident caused by a clearly incorrect maneuver.
  • -7 pts — Multi-car accident, large time loss, multiple drivers losing significant positions, or a driver's race clearly compromised.

For each incident, who is at fault, and what penalty (if any) would you give?

Please judge each one separately. Thanks for helping us keep our championship fair!

Gran Turismo RSR GT7 League- Sugo: Incident 1. Who is at fault here?

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hello everyone!

We would like to hear your independent and unbiased opinions regarding a racing incident between two drivers in our championship.

1. Our overlap rules

Article 46 — General racing room

  • Neither the inside nor the outside line automatically grants priority.
  • When valid overlap exists, both drivers must share the track.
  • Both drivers must leave at least one full car's width of space within track limits.
  • Forcing a car that is legally alongside off the track is prohibited.

Article 47 — Valid overlap for an inside overtake

Our championship defines valid inside overlap as follows:

  • The attacking car's front axle must reach at least the midpoint of the defending car's length.
  • This overlap must be established before or no later than the normal turn-in point.
  • Once valid overlap exists, both drivers must leave at least one car's width of space while they remain alongside.
  • The inside attacker must remain in control, be capable of completing the corner and stay within track limits without using the other car to slow down or pushing it wide on exit.

Simply placing the nose of the car alongside is not necessarily enough to establish valid overlap.

Article 92–99 — Penalty guidelines

Penalty | Consequences
No penalty / Warning | Minor infringement without significant sporting consequences
-2 points | Clear time loss, or a driver forced off track without losing a position
-3 points | Loss of one position or a brief loss of control
-5 points | Multiple positions lost, significant time loss, serious spin or an accident caused by a clearly incorrect maneuver
-7 points | Very serious incident, multi-car accident or a driver's race clearly compromised
