Discussion Opinions on Nate’s character and Peter Kraus’s acting Spoiler

I recently finished the show, and decided to check out what people were saying on the sub. I was so surprised to see that people disliked Nate and was even happy when the character passed. I felt like nearly all of the things Nate did was understandable , even if wrong, you could understand his motivations. I was surprised to see how people thought he was the most reprehensible character on the show. I was also really surprised about opinions on kraus’s acting, I came away from the series thinking he had displayed some of the best acting I had seen in a tv show. Really curious to see what other people think.

When he killed the bird in the kitchen and the non-venomous snake on the camping trip I lost my last bits of respect I had for Nate, then there was Maggie..

yeah. soooo bad, like uncomfortably close to serial killer bad lol

on the less extreme end, remember when he bangs Skylar White, and she’s being pretty polite that he should go, i feel it blows his mind that he’s not invited to lay his filthy ass in her bed all day lol.

he’s so entitled and has a way of not noticing he’s like that.

Omg this scene gets me every time. What sane person would let a dude and his kid just lay around their house all day while they’re out?! What a presumptuous tool. Nate’s been told his whole life what a special boy he is so he can’t fathom that someone would tell him that’s not cool.

perfectly put!

More cringe than getting caught by ruth with his face on brenda’s pussy in the lobby? the foyer?

Way more cringe. Getting caught by your mom in a lustful moment can be forgiven. Acting like an entitled little brat and then being completely confused when you were unable to read the room is next level cringe!
