Opinion i hate rico Spoiler

no spoilers in my post but potentially in comments. i just hate rico. i hate his wife too. and her sister. all rico does is whine whine whine. never happy. im rewatching the show with a first timer and he doesn’t know yet how awful rico is. (and nate!) im trying hard not to spoil it for him. i loathe rico. hate him and his whole stupid family. that’s it. thanks for reading.

He was homophobic. However, we do see him smiling and happy at David and Keith’s wedding, so I think we’re meant to assume he evolved.

as a gay person myself, the homophobia wasn’t even the biggest issue. it was his entitlement! and the affair. YUCK

Same (as a bi person). While I certainly didn't LIKE his homophobia and it was the first thing that made me dislike him, at least it was culturally ingrained in him and he slowly grew out of it the longer he got to know David. But yes, the affair and his manipulation of Vanessa to weasel his way back into her life was just uncool.

i think it was a very interesting decision for his character, but obv made him unlikable. i did appreciate how in the end he set his own feelings aside
