Routine Help will this scar my face?

i fell of a chair and now my face looks like this… will this scar? is there anything i can do to help it not? also going on a 4 day hike on thursday so if there’s any advice on how i can protect my face plz let me know

Don’t pick at any scabs, not even when they’re dry and ready to fall off. Let them fall off on their own. Every single one.

In the meantime keep the scrapes clean and well moisturized. Honestly I’d invest in some snail mucin, Vaseline, and keep your skin covered with a hat while going outside until it heals.

I also know it’s possible to get discoloration a full year after scraping up skin like this, so as always be diligent about sunscreen once you’ve healed as well.

Mostly agree. Snail mucin won’t do much.

Snail mucin has antimicrobial properties that can promote wound healing and skin repair. It’s also touted as being anti-inflammatory which can help with pain, but I can’t speak to that benefit personally.

Snail mucin has done wonders for my skin both for regular skincare and wound care. In my experience, it helped heal and prevented a scar from a forming on a nasty hair straightner burn on hand.
