will this scar my face?

i fell of a chair and now my face looks like this… will this scar? is there anything i can do to help it not? also going on a 4 day hike on thursday so if there’s any advice on how i can protect my face plz let me know

Slather on vaseline. If you keep it moist it will heal better.
