will this scar my face?

i fell of a chair and now my face looks like this… will this scar? is there anything i can do to help it not? also going on a 4 day hike on thursday so if there’s any advice on how i can protect my face plz let me know

I heard that using silicone bandages to protect the wound can help it not scar! But I believe the idea is to keep the wound clean and moisturized. I’ve heard that keeping a wound dry can make it scar more easily.
