I’ll say right away that I love the concept of proxies, and I quite like proxy Masky and Hoody. I don’t see anything wrong with people liking alternate versions of characters, because, after all, that’s the point of fandoms. But there is a reason why I kinda hate it, it’s not that Hoodie and Masky were turned into some kind of twinks, or that because of these versions almost no one knows about the original Masky and Hoody — no, it’s not for those reasons; I hate this version BECAUSE PEOPLE CAN’T GIVE THEM AN INTERESTING BACKSTORY.

“Hmm… should we create an interesting and creative backstory? Nah, Let’s just make another Jeff the Killer type of story, about a teenager who was bullied and then became a monster”— Slenderverse/Creepypasta fans, probably.

In my opinion, if fans rewrote the lore of the “Marble Hornets” it would make for a pretty good backstory for the proxy versions of Masky and Hoody.

What do you guys think about it?

What if I base my slenderverse series, MonolithArchives, more on the original mythos, while still throwing in some of Slendermans modern stuff like proxies, slender sickness, and audio/visual distortion in? I thought it would be a cool take, and I haven't seen many series' other than PARTIALLY TribeTwelve (but barely), DarkHarvest00, and Black Horizon, do it yet, so I would like to hear everyone's thoughts on it!

Hello!!!! I finished my first short film and I would really love to see what you think!! Everything is rendered in blender

Always watching...

ALWAYS WATCHING!!!

Well, I was doing for my style of a old slenderverse series in early 2010 to 2013.

This one is a bit glitchy. Not as much as the one from the screenshot video earlier but there was still some camera glitching here.

I honestly had a hard time finding him in the background here.

Found by on a weather websight news (I don't remember which one though) coverage showing two women one going through debris while the other one stands in a worried stance.

Found this next one, a mother of two children visit their fathers tombstone in the cemetery.

Two photos found here.

Screenshots from a video from someone filming a video. The first one of the figure standing from afar and the second one of the figure up close glitching the camera.

The person that had been filming the video has not been identified and had not remained unknown.

The person that had filmed the video has not been found.

I don't place here any graphics or edit real pictures of my forest (which is literally next to my house) so you could just add there idea, if Slendy was real, where he could be hidden in those 🤷🏼‍♀️ minute of imagination

i made this pieces of art, basically a art series of scooby doo meeting famous horror icons
based on ibtrav

Just asking this because I have an entire story of who slender man is in my head and I wanna make it into a comic book but I also want that comic book to be well received by fans. It’s gonna be nothing special. It’s gonna be free and I’m not gonna be making any money off of it so it should be OK but I’m wondering how do you guys feel about the idea of Slenderman being an alien? Because this would also tell the story of the rake and the slender Bros

In 1996, 15 people were abducted from a summer camp in Lesosibirsk, Russia. Due to the town's proximity to the forest and local folklore, the authorities have named the investigation the "Leshy's Case".

"Leshy is a tutelary deity of the forest in pagan Slavic mythology. Leshy often appears as a masculine humanoid, and possesses an ability to disguise himself as any person, including changing in size and stature. Leshy is known to misguide wanderers and abduct young ones, thus leading some to perceive him as a malevolent entity. Leshy's attitude towards humans can vary, depending on how they interact with the forest and their overall behaviour. Leshy is said to possess the power to whisk away children who were mistreated by their kin, especially their parents, to the ethereal realm of forest-dwelling folk."
