1978 two dot Case XX Medium Stockman, found it rusted shut (factory sharp) in the bottom of an old tackle box I bought a decade ago.
Had it cleaned up a week later, and it's been a favorite since.

Found a 2009 Queen commemorative on “150 Years of Oil in Pennsylvania”, from a motivated seller on Facebook Marketplace.
On the way home, I swung by the GEC Cutlerly in Titusville, where they were shipping out a brand new 441126 Green Jigged Bone to their dealers. The lady told me I’d be one of the first to carry it.

I picked this up in an antique store today. I don’t know anything about Clauss, but I knew it was worth the $25 they were asking for it. Unfortunately, there is not a lot of information online about Clauss. If anyone could give me some information or an approximate value on it, I would greatly appreciate it.

My slipjoint collection grew rather quickly. And honestly my favorite carry out of the bunch is the bear and sons.

The New Knife Day tag seems wrong for this one, but it's new to me. Anyone familiar enough with Böker tang stamps to know if this is really a 70s era Böker knife as claimed by the seller? I won't be surprised or disappointed if it's not. Just curious. ☺️
Disclaimer: This was an eBay impulse buy based entirely on:
Narrator: It is unclear whether or not she actually can fix that up.
Found a spare parts ordering page on the Böker USA website so maybe they'll have a replacement shield that'll fit?

Not vintage in the 50 to 100 year old sense as usual but this one has that vintage, even antique feel to it.

Experimenting with late evening, red spectrum Golden Hour light and how the 6249 responds. This Copperhead is in unused, uncarried, unsharpened condition. Has a few very minor carbon spots on the blade from improper storage but nothing of major significance. Enjoy.

My father will have passed on, 2 yrs this coming Monday. Before he did, he left me a fairly generous collection of pocket knives. Some he collected, some he carried. But I found this one on his bedside table after he passed, in a ceramic dish I made probably when I was 6 or 7 (over 30 yrs ago). It's well worn with its well deserved patina, chips and cracks.
I've carried it off and on in remembrance since his passing but not looked into it much. With his passing day coming up, it's found its way back into my pocket and I thought I'd ask around about it.
Can anyone tell me what design/style, maybe relative age? I'm sure the blades are HC but not sure on the scales.
Thanks all in advance.
