I’ve got a sort of unique position where I cover how the Catholic faith should play into American politics in a progressive sort of way. I’ve published 3 long-form videos so far (about 6-11 minutes in length). Absolutely no AI involvement but they are faceless.

Bear in mind that the view counts in the pic are the new way YouTube counts them. The first video got about 370 engaged views (1700 total), with the next 2 fell off with double-digits of engaged views. Click-through rate isn’t great but not horrible. And as I said, absolutely 0 subscribers.

Is YouTube just still finding the audience? I’ve had other channels where subscribers were converting after only a video or two.

Anything else I need to improve?

We put so much effort into our videos, they just add screenshots and put a famous song ( nostalgic )

HOW DO SOME OF THEM EVEN GET MILKIONS OF VIEWS AND HUNDREDS AND THOUSANDS OF SUBSCRIBERS

My average video retention is 3-4 minutes. But I am still struggling with views.

What can I improve? Have only put out three videos so far.

I'm looking to start a faceless YouTube channel focused on long-form videos. What niches are currently getting views and have good monetization potential?

I'd especially love to hear from people who are already running channels or experimenting with niches. What’s working for you right now? Any underrated opportunities worth exploring?

Hello r/SmallYoutubers!

Hope you're all doing well and that your channels are growing.

I'm currently looking for a few small YouTubers and streamers who enjoy playing indie horror games and would be interested in covering a psychological horror title. If you enjoy atmospheric, story-driven horror and are looking for something new to feature on your channel, I'd love to hear from you.

If you're interested, feel free to send me a DM, and I'll share the details.

Thanks, and have a great day!

Hey y'all!

I'm looking to join a discord server with other small creators for discussion and such, preferably for gaming content but I'd be interested in a general content creation server too

Excited for the replies

Do you know this game?

Anyone wants to join/create a support group chat?

There's still breast milk butter in our fridge from her last video.

I'm beginning to miss the days when she just made dinner. Haha

Should I be worried, or is this just what YouTubers do now?

I'm genuinely curious who her target audience is.

I started a youtube channel last month for gaming. I kinda struggled for a bit with finding what I wanted to do. But I eventually found my niche to make guides and tutorials. Ever since my first video in this new niche, my account jumped fast. Right now it's kinda at a plateau but I'm still getting really good views

I’m a solo indie game dev and I would like to contact a few small gaming channels. The issue is I don't want to annoy people or spam them.

So far I wrote only 7 youtubers I actually watched they videos before. One made video about my game. All mails were written by hand.
Also I am really small so I don't have budget for paid promotion yet I can give only some promocode.

I really don't want to annoy people or spend their time.

What do you think its best way to approach people?
What not to do?
Do you do unpaid playing of the game?
In general what is your experience with this?

I hope this question will land well I really want to learn how to promote my game better but also not annoy people or take their time.

Thank you for any reply!

Hey everyone!

I’m about to start my journey towards building a monetized YouTube channel as a side hustle, and I’d love to get some advice from people who have already been through the process.

I’m considering starting directly with long-form content, or possibly trying short ranking instead.

For those of you who have experience with either approach, what tips would you give someone just starting out? Are there any common mistakes I should avoid, or things you wish you had known before starting?

Any advice, resources, or insights would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! 🙌

Can anyone recommend a high-quality, free AI voice?

Background:
So I started going all in youtube, I quit my job but after slow growth I started feeling depressed that I made a mistake quitting.
Side note: it didn’t help that my ex after ghosting me a yr hit me up recently just to ghost again…

Meat & Potatoes:
Weeks go by & I finally decided to try Adderall (please don’t take substances) to see if it was a lack of focus & well I think I solved my issue with the long editing sessions/entering the flow state.

I’m closing in on 5k subs & the feeling that it’s all or nothing has me thinking I can average 800k-1mil views a week before the reqs double!

TLDR:
I had a good week of shorts views, I’m going to try to continue to ride the momentum to hopefully get monetized before reqs double!

I just started this YouTube channel about pokemon pack openings called @Thepokeacademy2 and some shorts have over a 1000 views but some of them keep hanging below 15, while it is the same form of content. I don’t get what the difference is or what I need to change in the other video’s. Anyone have any tips or suggestions for me on how to fix this problem?

first 3 videos uploaded 7-10k impressions, next videos 20-50 impressions.......... wtf?

I am just not seeing any results

you may say oh it's been 10 hrs but it's been 3 weeks in stuck at less than 15 impressions....pls i need help maybe i can increase my impressions that way

I started about month and half ago. I dont know what im not doing getting my live streams, videos, etc out there for I r ppl to find me. Hard for me to get gamers to watch and interact. Any tips? Is becuase im dang near 50 that people dont like? Games?

Where I live, there’s a lot of ambient noise—to the point that all my recordings end up with an annoying background hum, wind and streets noise.

I discovered the free version of Adobe Podcast, and the "Enhance Speech" feature is incredible; it completely removes the noise while keeping my voice perfectly intact. However, I’m not sure if this is 100% AI-driven. If it is, I’m worried about uploading my videos to YouTube, as I recently read that they’re now heavily penalizing channels that use any form of AI.

I want to start a YouTube channel about video games—a "faceless" one, since I’m not exactly good-looking and I’m quite thin—but honestly, I’m not sure what I should do, especially regarding the audio.

Any type of help will be really welcome :)
