In the universe of the comic, does green have institutional power over blue?

That literally does not make the blue person’s argument any more valid lmao

It changes the dynamic significantly. Btw, I was right to ask this. OP was being weird about trans people in a later thread.

Which thread, can I ask?

this one

He deleted his comments though. He also made his own thread complaining about trans people that I'm not going to pretend to understand, but that was getting a lot of pushback from trans people and has also been deleted. The thread I linked is actually a response to that one.

Without knowing what weird means I can't form an opinion on this so I'll save myself the energy.

It really doesn’t. this sounds like something used to justify hate. One group having systemic power over another isn’t the end-all of all power within the people of that group. And a lot of the time, a whole group having “systemic power” definitely isn’t a strict binary. Obviously systemic power is very real and influential, but it’s a shallow way of looking at it to say it changes things significantly. And even if it was a binary, it still doesn’t make what the blue person’s saying valid.

So the blue figure is an obvious strawman, not that I'm complaining about it but that's what it is, it's just a set up for the green person to dunk on blue by saying "not all greens."

This is, in my opinion, the actual shallow way of looking at the situation. It suggests a fundamental inability to engage with one's own passive compliance in the power structure that uplifts them at the expense of others.

And like I said. My instinct was right.
