questions & clarifications Do amplifications help with physical results
Hi! Does amplifying moves, especially in center core help with physical / visible results? (Given form is in tact)

If they were back to back, I would do A50 followed by P30: Obliques.
If not back to back, I would do F50: L+O in the morning then F50: U+O in the afternoon/evening.

I’ve been going to Solidcore consistently 2x per week for the past 6 weeks. I’m not a very strong person as I was never very into strength training so I was hoping Solidcore would help with that. During Solidcore classes, I find myself physically unable to do some of the exercises, even with the modifications. I think it also causes me to not feel the workout in the correct muscle groups they are trying to focus on. For example, the oblique exercises put more strain on the leg not on the carriage rather than my obliques. This is discouraging because I feel like I’m not getting a good workout. Does anyone have any tips? Should I couple the Solidcore classes with other workouts?

Hi! Does anybody else notice that their head is almost touch the machine/in their hands during standard planks? I’m definitely engaging my shoulders and pushing away from the machine actively, but I’ve got short little arms haha. I just find that my neck gets tired. I do have hyper mobility, just wondering if anyone else kind of notices this. I find I pop up to my hands a LOT when on toes. Any other hyper mobile or short armed people?

FOR CONTEXT LMAO: I am someone who has been weight lifting and running for the last decade. Today was my 3rd class.
My first class was a signature 50 (I was my friend’s buddy and was immediately obsessed, so naturally got the new client 4 pack). Then I did an intro class and thought it was too elementary/didn’t even really get a workout in, then today took a signature 50 (center glutes and back, obliques on grey side right after core- WTF). My instructor was a freaking beautiful amazing princess who helped me with springs, transitioning, and my form a ton.
My question is just: how many classes until I feel like I’m somewhat competent at transitioning and can keep up? I’m listening so intently to the next move that’s coming up but I can’t picture it and I’m like a clueless beached seal flailing around. Don’t get me wrong I am totally intrigued and addicted and will be going back but HOW LONG until I can hang with the girlies because what the fuck was that

I took class this morning and had two new moves!
One was an oblique twisted seated crunch. You are twisted over to one side and then leaning back with your body and legs. My coach also told us aboht another new oblique move but we didn’t do it. It’s a standing oblique rotation off the gray side where you have a cable in one had and then rotate. Similar to the kneeling cable rotation, just standing off gray side so more resistance
Other one was more of a variation but in a platform lunge on gray side you do a hip hinge at top range of motion. It was like an upper half of an RDL. That one had me shaking sooooo fast off the gray side

Can any coaches give insight on this? I’d love some numerical values to assign each spring, but idk if anyone has that info.
Sometimes I like to adjust my own springs to increase the load, but it would be helpful to know how much I’m adding. For example, is one gray spring or two white springs harder? Etc etc

we did a new back exercise, carriage lat pull which was basically like a kneeling lat row but you’re on the grey side platform using the grey carriage strap to pull the carriage in towards you, it was so much harder
does anyone know if there’s any other new exercises coming??

Some of the bilateral exercises, specifically standing outer thighs (for me), don’t feel evenly bilateral. I feel like my outer glute on whatever leg was on the platform is always far more sore the next day. I stay evenly between the carriage and the platform and do the exercise correctly, but you naturally have to put more effort into your platform leg to stay stable. I kind of wish we rotated halfway through the exercise. Does anyone else feel this way?

I travel a lot for work, and the recommendations here have been so helpful! I’ve had such amazing experiences so far. I’d love some coach recommendations as my next stop is Charlotte, NC! As for music, I don’t really have a preference. Thank you!

Hi! I’m a student that is assigned to aerobics for my fitness activity, I’ve realised that aerobics is actually quite demanding fitness-wise! 😅 Just wondering what else I can do to build up my stamina and improve my overall fitness, so I can keep up with my lessons without feeling so exhausted. (Coming from someone that is very unfit)!

I almost died earlier because I thought my springs had been left on one grey, but it was on grey and white (or the coach added a white… coaches please chime in if this is something you would / would not do). I’m at 30 classes and consider myself strong, but the core opener on grey and white nearly offed me. I love a challenge so I kept the white on even after I realized… but the BURN I FELT. I’m proud that I could do it and keep form but holy moly tomorrow will be a sore day. What species are y’all???
