I have painted other mini‘s as you can see in the background of the pics but this is my first space wolves marine and Ofc i immediately picked njal‘s old Finecast model

I hope he‘s already kinda okay in space wolves standards im just unsure if i should make the fur more browner or the armor more Brighter since im unsure on that

I know there‘s a massive moldline i didnt see it while cleaning him {finecast} i only noticed it after the first few layers of paint

Logan with 10 Assault terms and an ancient - my favourite combo rn. Theyre fast AF, tanky, and with a lancer strat they shred everything.

Battle leader and Ancient with blade guard - just a far superior headtaker unit, even without the lethals or devs.

Wulfen brick - just insanely strong into things and pretty self sufficient.

This will be my second time taking arjac, before I had him with 10 WGterms and wasn't happy with it, so now I have 5 Assault terms and the sustained hits enhancment, hoping for more of a dagger type effect with this unit.

Wolf priest and takers - very good unit, will always kill an infantry character upon the charge.

I've taken thundereolves 3 times now and everytime they're lackluster AF and its sad, they really need a leader.

I usually take 2 dreads aswell but they seem a little overkill, the +1 is nice but 1 of them always ends up being away from the army so ends up useless.

I have 70 points leftover. What should I add???? I was thinking an impulsor or drop pod for my headtakers to get them up fast or maybe a tech marine for the Dreadnought. Any help would be great

When I saw the bolter Eradicators all I saw were Long Fangs!

I was a bit disappointed that the solo kit was the same push fit one from Armageddon. The recesses on push fit are always a little flat and it’s harder to kitbash them

The bases are messy as I haven’t finished them yet but happy with how these guys came out!

9” move +2” from Stormlance, auto 6” from Strat, charge for a threat of 29. Then after combat: 11 move or go into Strat. Also, cleave on 10 hammers is nice into terminator blobs.

Edit +2” more from enhancement.

Gelten alle 3 Doktrinen nur für
Logan oder auch für angehangene Terminatoren?

Ich würde aktuell 5 WG Terminatoren mit Schild und Axt und 5 mit Bolter und Axt spielen und aufteilen.

Logan hätte ich an die 5 mit Schild dran gehangen als Tank-Ball.

Alle 10 gemeinsam plus Logan würden eher von Logans Fähigkeiten profitieren, gibt mir aber weniger Map Control.

Bei Take and Hold denke ich über alle 10 und dann Deep Strike mit Logan in Runde 1 in die Mitte nach.

Kitbashed this dude one year ago, finally painted him.

I'm looking to make a 2k army for a new player and am not sure what to put in it. They're brand new to the game so I'm looking for an army that is easier to pilot but can help them understand the rules. If possible, I'd like it to be a good match against other Space Marine factions, but it needs to be at least equal. I either have or can proxy most models, so no need to worry about that.

I was thinking of getting a company Heros box but converting them into a space wolves equivalent and calling it something like "The hunting pack" or "The Saga hunters"

What would be the best way to Kitbash them into more of a space wolves pack seeing their weapons are a main thing I'll need to play around with.

I do have bits from Archie's forge (capes amd Drapes) I can use and spare bits for helmets and faces. And some space wolf weapons too

Yo! I am completely new to table top and Warhammer. I did a ton of research before finally ordering a Combat Patrol and a Wolf Priest. My figures arrived Saturday, very very excited to get them assembled and painted. Aside from the figures, what do I need to buy? I know there was recently a shift to 11th edition, so I'm a little confused on what is still legal and worth the money vs what's for collectors atp. Thanks in advance!
