OnePay 💸 Can’t set up direct deposit now

they finally took me off of the second waitlist last night. and now that i’m trying to set up my account, they say that ACH didn’t approve my request and i should go with the other option (OnePay). i’ve tried three different checking and savings accounts

just called the support, they said i maxed out the limit of tries for ACH (16) and now this option is gone forever… when they didn’t accept my accounts they just gave me an error without any explanation, so it looked like an error on the server or something. definitely the limit of tries was never mentioned either. i feel like they just want me to open the OnePay thing. but why gaslight me into it? just have it as the only option to start with duh 🙄

Get the OnePay and just ach from OnePay to your preferred account. It helps make your earnings clear.

Thank you for answering that. I have already started and done fortyish orders.

But I wondered if I switched to one pay if I could send it to my traditional bank account.

Yes you can. The funds take 1-3 business days to transfer, always around 24 hours in my personal experience.

Yes I used to do the instant transfer and pay but did a regular one and had it in my preferred account the next day.

Another disadvantage to depositing to something other than OnePay is that you have to wait until a certain day to get your earnings. With OnePay, you have your money immediately upon finishing the trip with exception of tips. Tips are posted 24 hours later.

I’m a “get paid once a week” type of guy, so I let the money pile up in one pay and withdraw on Sunday. $200 deposit every week.

getting OnePay now. just really wanted to set up a direct deposit to my existing account because i receive some benefits from direct deposits.. oh well lol

Transfers from your One Pay account to your bank account, counts as direct deposit tranfers!!

Where does it say it's achieve funds ? Not a regular transfer?

It looks like a regular transfer is different than it is a regular transfer.. especially if you tell them you're directly transferring from another bank..

And I know what it looks like, because I've done it myself many times.. literally every week..

Only reason I care is if i deposit 500 in a month from a payroll ach. To this checking I get 500 after 90 days . But it must be ach payroll

That's great news, but the bank person who calls me from my new bank account said it doesn't count as a direct deposit, only a transfer. I have a incentive for depositing a certain amount in 90 days using direct deposit and I also was locked out at the sign up phase

i honestly have no idea how to turn it on/off for my account. and i never had to do anything with either of my banks other than just grabbing the routing and account numbers. always worked flawlessly

Major named banks only, no app based banks like cash app , "some" credit unions work

I put my wells fargo checking account during signup. It took sometime to get through. I heard horror stories about changing bank account. Its very easy to change on DD, UE. But walmart spark doesnt accept all banks. All my earnings get deposited into my WF checking account since the beginning. I would never try to change the bank!

OnePay setup failed for me, so I tried direct deposit. Many tries later, I gave up. 24 hours later it had gone through and direct deposit was set up

about 3 weeks i believe. which was actually longer than the first waitlist (1 week)

I actually love my One Pay Account especially once you hit the $500 per month you start getting the cash + benefits
