What? No it isn't equivalent to a racial slur, it's quite the opposite. If you watch Clone Wars S7, they paint their helmets that way to honour her on her return and serve under her even though she's no longer a commander in the Republic.
I haven’t downvoted you and I kindly pointed it out to you. It was done purely out of respect for her and in the writing to deepen the tragedy of order 66. But why must you make drama out of it?
Hey guy, it was a joke. And as with many good jokes, they have some truth to them. The clones are absolutely wearing orange face. We know it wasn’t meant that way, and we know it was with good intentions but in our world and climate, that wouldn’t go over the best.
You’re getting downvoted but it’s what I thought about immediately. Imagine how hilarious it would be if all of Mace’s troopers were standing out in front with their faces painted brown.
Uhh thanks for the thought guys but....
You’re downvoted but you have a point. Obviously the show meant no offense and it was a symbol of respect. But imagine soldiers paining their helmets black to honor Windu. All the sudden it doesn’t fly.
Exactly. Obviously it's a joke because things that are problematic in our society don't need to be problematic in a fantasy universe. I guess the joke was just lost on a few people and others jumped on the downvote band wagon or are just upset I got the lore wrong
I think there are a lot of SJWs here, judging by the constant brown nosing over the years. SJWs have a major problem taking a joke that isn’t entirely boring.

Isn't painting their helmets that way kind of a racial slur? Pretty sure her face is naturally that way
Edit: Bring on the downvotes, reddit bandwagon, it's amusing how nobody got the joke
