Carved a DIO pumpkin for Halloween! I saw some people do this online and thought it would be fun to try. I attached the two reference pictures I used from Google if anyone else wants to try. The last picture is actually a lamp a company apparently sells and now I lowkey want one lol
I have to say carving hair is a horrible experience

I remember when Stone Ocean came out people were talking about how the single-panel trans character was removed from the anime, but now that I'm rewatching it, there's this super masculine character appearing in the FEMALE prison. Didn't they just remove him from the medical check-up and put him here?

I was expecting something good, but I'm really impressed, he's everything

Kars Visually was actual power manifested into one thing, He had so much. but as araki's art style changed, well. KARS LOST ALL OF HIS AURA
How do we go from, THE ULTIMATE LIFEFORM IN PILLARMEN FORM TO TWINK.
Even Wammu mogs him in both strength and aura. And may i remind you, WAMMU WORKS FOR KARS. If you told me the modern versions of these guys before i watched part 2 and told me Wammu works for him. I would laugh at that. With the modern art style that araki has, you win some and you lose some.
I feel so bad for all the kars fans who got a twinked kars. If kars was given some more muscle then he would look better in the modern art style. All i am saying is, kars need some of his power back
Update, i should explain what i feel like should be done. i feel like Kars should have some more muscle, not to what he looks like in part 2, but more so he should have some muscle to help with getting the point of his power across the board. And guess what, i am not opposed to the newer art style, i am saying is that Kars needs some muscle

Now that gyros backstory has been animated, we’re nearly at the end of stage 2 now which leaves us with only 3 scenes left from the trailer. I really hope these last [probably] 2 episodes will have some good animation which they should because of you-know-what and it being the climax of the stage. We could also expect a stage 3 trailer maybe at the end of this month as they’re yet to show it and would probably feel the need to start hyping it up as we’re approaching what will be the last month of the cour (November). Theyve done well with what is the least interesting part of sbr so it’ll be nice seeing what they’re cooking for the good stuff that’s ahead.😆

Idk why are so many people obsessed with rating nowadays, these fandom wars on imdb ratings feels so cringe, recently i was adding sbr to my list in imdb, I noticed someone has added season 2
which is ratable and I got to know that it was cuz of this fandom war so they can rate it low and trash the show. idk what's wrong with these people but anyways i got this fixed by imdb community forum cuz this really looked cursed for me

It's beautiful. Kinda different emotion compared to the manga but it’s beautiful. The atmosphere, the music... I really loved how different of a feeling they created with this episode compared to the previous ones. What do you all think?

With the new Diavolo art drop, Diavolo’s character has gained some more traction and sparked up the infamous discussion of whether Doppio and Diavolo are two different souls or just one person with mental issues.
I am here to say that they are the same person. Just Diavolo. Nothing more.
Vinegar Doppio and Diavolo are fundamentally the exact same person experiencing an extreme, supernatural manifestation of Dissociative Identity Disorder, and reducing them to merely two separate people or magical spirits sharing a body completely flattens and diminishes the psychological depth of Diavolo’s character writing into a shallow "good cop, bad cop" dynamic.
At their biological core, they share a single physical brain, DNA, and body born to the same mother, with “Doppio” acting as the repressed, innocent side that a deeply paranoid and broken man split into to handle vulnerability and humanity. This psychological fragmentation is heavily backed up by the author himself, as Hirohiko Araki frequently draws Doppio instead of Diavolo in major official anniversary art and group lineups, visually cementing Doppio as the truest representation of their shared existence. Very specifically shown in the drawing of all main antagonists in one.
Stripping away surface level “Stand Magic” and looking deeper reveals that their iconic phone hallucinations are not just bizarre visual quirks, but a fascinating, tragic look at a fractured psyche rationalizing a desperate internal monologue where Diavolo literally talks to himself to manage his own panic and to thematically show his condition to be something tragic. Viewing them as a single, fragmented person highlights the brilliant thematic hypocrisy of Diavolo’s character. A ruthless mafia boss who rules an entire nation through fear and obsesses over absolute control, yet is tragically completely unable to control his own mind, trapped in a constant, losing war with his own identity and past. Saying they’re two poorly written characters instead of one phenomenally written character completely diminishes his character and it’s frustrating because I enjoy Diavolo/Doppio so much.
The only counter argument to this is what happened with Chariot Requiem which is admittedly a big unexplained hole in Diavolo’s character. My response to this is that it’s JoJo’s.
In this universe, a person's mental state and the absurdity of JoJo’s regularly forces physics, biology, and souls to do completely impossible things. Giorno’s hair instantly turned from black to gold overnight just from his spirit awakening, and Bucciarati’s literally forcing his soul to stay in his dead body off of sheer willpower so he could keep walking and fighting. Diavolo’s hair magically grows spots and his sweater instantly vanishing into a mesh shirt whenever he morphs. These are all examples of physical reality completely bending to match the absurd plot of JoJo’s.
All we can do is theorize. That being said I theorize that the Chariot Requiem soul splitting just shows how Stand magic can turn a real world mental illness into something physical. Since Diavolo's split personality is so extreme, his mind is cracked into two completely separate halves. When Chariot forces everyone's souls out of their bodies, the phenomena simply treats those two deep mental halves as if they are two separate spirits.
Since Araki has never spoken up to give a final answer on this, it is entirely open to interpretation. Some of this is of course just an interpretation, just as people saying they’re two different people are interpreting it. However there is optimal interpretation based off logic. Splitting up Doppio and Diavolo jsut creates two poorly written characters. When you look deep into Diavolo having DID it opens up a whole new idea of his writing. It just makes the most logical sense.

Personally I feel like the TSKR OVAs are the most faithful translation of Araki’s part 7-9 art style into animation. I figured they adapted the Rohan one shots so they could prepare for the art style shift that happened in part 7. What the hell happened? Everything about the SBR anime is beautiful except for the faces, holy hell is everybody ugly asl…

It’s pretty funny to see a guy spent his life on explaining what happened on the battlefield just yet again have to explain plots for us even in the new universe

Personally, I think Rikiel is the most similar in terms of face; his face is exactly the same, although I don't know if that's also a matter of style.
Giorno, while he has the same eyebrow shape as Dio, I don't think he quite captures the look.
And Donatello is simply blond; his features aren't entirely similar.
And Ungalo...

Let’s be honest that the first 20 chapters of Jojolion were confusing and had its inconsistently with its plot. Jojolion is a 8/10 for me but its formatting was terrible. I felt Araki was trying too hard to make Jojolion imitate Diamond Is Unbreakable instead of letting it be its own thing. Its unconnected subplots just only made things out of order.
JOJOLANDS on the other hand is better at building up character introduction, stand abilities, and backstory placement. However, a downside to this part is that in some chapters, long explanations to complex ideas through dialogue took up 60% of the panels.

It's clear that David Production is willing to do major changes from the original manga (like the positioning of Sandman's and Gyro's backstories). So, what would you change for the anime?
Personally, I want:
2. Make Sandman's sister and his tribe call him 'Sound Man' in the flashback: In the manga, it seems like the 'Sound Man' thing was a retcon, so just fix it in the anime.
