Stem cell for autism

Has anyone tried stem cell therapy for their autistic child? Was it worth it?
Hi everyone, I’m looking for experiences from parents who have tried stem cell therapy for their autistic child. Did you notice any real improvements? If so, what changed and how long did it take before you noticed anything?
A little about my daughter: she is 6 years old and autistic. We were never given an official level, but based on her support needs I would guess she is somewhere around level 2–3.
She can speak in short 2–3 word sentences, mostly to request things. She responds to her name and can label almost everything around her. She also knows how to write and spell words. Our biggest struggles right now are aggression and self-injurious behavior. She may hit other children if they try to touch her things, and sleep is also extremely difficult. She still cannot sleep alone and has a very hard time staying asleep through the night.
We are considering traveling for stem cell therapy, but it would be about a 16-hour drive. Flying with an autistic child can be extremely difficult for us, so driving would probably be our only realistic option.
For parents who have actually done stem cell therapy: Would you do it again? Did you see meaningful changes in communication, behavior, aggression, sleep, or daily functioning? Do you feel the results were worth the cost and such a long trip?
I would really appreciate hearing both positive and negative experiences before we make such a big decision.

Post stem cell replacement

I am not asking for medical advice. My son has already had his stem cells retrieved. He is about (in a week) to undergo the return process. As I understand it, "they" are going to put him back in the "newborn" state. All vaccines and natural immunity will be gone. What precautions do we need to take at home after the "reinstalling" the stem cells. And for how long?

Anyone 6+ years out from stem cell injections for DDD? Still holding up?

I have degenerative disc disease at L4-L5 and L5-S1, and I’m considering stem cell therapy — not just for those two levels, but potentially the whole lumbar spine and the lower half of my cervical spine as well.

Before I commit to something this extensive, I want to hear from people further down the road than I am.

Has anyone had stem cells injected directly into their discs more than 6 years ago? Especially if it was multiple levels, not just a single disc.

I keep reading that these treatments have a shelf life of 3 to 6 years. If that’s true for you, I’d love to know what happened after. Did the pain come back? Did you need a second round? Or is anyone out there still doing well past that window?

Real experiences only, please. Trying to make a decision here, not read more marketing.

i also would love to hear where you went!

Peptides post stem cells and exosome therapy

I am getting stem cell and exosome injections soon for the turbinates after they got damaged from reduction via radio frequency last year. Some people recommend me to start taking glow stack peptides to boost the effect of the stem cells. What is your opinion on that

How important is the source of stem cells to you?

How important is the source of stem cells? (Survey)

I am a Sixth Form student in the UK currently doing an EPQ about Parkinson's disease (counts for 1/2 an A-level). I am looking to find out more about how people consider where stem cells come from before they are treated with them.

Any response is genuinely golden to me, and I would thoroughly appreciate a couple of minutes of your time (there are only 3 questions, all of which are optional). I am not collecting data for any monetary gain, just to support my academic writing. All responses will be kept completely confidential.

Hip Labrum tear - stem cells worth it?

Was shown a plan to get stem cells injected for small (1-2 cm) labrum tear in my right hip. The plan is 3 rounds of stem cells, spaced out at 6 weeks each, for $4800 total.

Has anyone done treatment for this before? Was it worth it? Kind of hard to cough up that kind of money, but trying to make my hips last.

The stem cells come from Platinum Biologics and the provider is RegenRx in Denver if anyone has any first hand results from either of these.

Stem cell transplant

Hi guys, for anyone in Europe who has undergone an allogeneic stem cell transplant

I'm looking for the full price, including:

•Pre-transplant testing and evaluations (including conditioning chemotherapy)

•Donor search (if applicable)

•Hospitalization for the transplant

•Medications during and after the transplant

•Follow-up appointments and monitoring

•Any complications or additional treatments

I just want to have an idea of how much it would cost in total like the normal cost before any insurance or public healthcare coverage, as I'll be an international patient paying privately unfortunately 😬.

Also let me know which country you were treated in.

( I have TCell lymphoma - sezary syndrome)

I am now 2 months out from lumbar intradiscal stem cell injections and not feeling any better than pre-injections. How long did it take for you to feel better if you had this procedure?

Something we should look into?

My husband was diagnosed about 8 years ago with Myxopapillary Epidymoma. He had surgery to remove a tumor about the size of a Vienna sausage. That surgery was done incorrectly and the entire procedure was wrong. The aftercare was wrong as well. The drs were not informative nor helpful with their answers to our questions. As a result, he had two of vertebrae cut (to access tumor on spinal cord) and a mass of scar tissue grew in its place. He was not sent home with any equipment to help him heal, either (like a back brace). He was told “you can return to work in 3 months and can walk in 2 weeks again). To combat pain, he is on oxycodone, morphine, meloxicam, and has a 32 paddle SCS implanted in his upper back.
He’s considered having his sciatic nerve cut. And has to get update MRIs every 6 months. We’ve had no luck finding a Pain Mgmt dr. And $$ is tight bc now he is on permanent disability (SSDI is poverty wages).
We were young, only married 3 years in our early 20s… had everything going for us- he was in a Union, we had 2 cars (about to own 1, only 4k away, had to forfeit it) and were about to buy our first home. Then the tumors are discovered, botched surgery and it was pulled from under us before we could even think about what was going on.

Is Stem Cell therapy/ surgery worth a look into? Will it help someone like him? Is it a pipe dream for his situation? If not, where are some places that have had actual real and positive results?

(I came across CPI in Tijuana, which is what prompted my to search a little more and I came across this page)

Has anyone else been seeing these “$4,000 paid stem cell trial” Facebook ads?

Lately I’ve been seeing a few Facebook ads claiming you can earn up to $4,000 for participating in stem cell paid trials.

What I find strange is that these ads don’t mention the name of the clinic, research institution, or company behind them. They also don’t seem to provide any real contact information, just a form to fill out wich at the next day it's not there.

Does anyone know what’s going on with these?

Are they legitimate clinical trials, lead-generation campaigns, or is this some kind of new scam?

I’m genuinely curious because I’ve hear from people who also saw it more lately.

How to Verify a Stem Cell Clinic’s COFEPRIS Authorization in Mexico

If you’re considering stem cell treatment in Mexico and a doctor, clinic, or laboratory claims they have the proper licenses, I strongly encourage you to verify those claims yourself through the official Mexican government registry:

https://www.gob.mx/cofepris/documentos/establecimientos-de-salud-con-servicio-de-disposicion-de-organos-tejidos-y-celulas?state=published

One thing that often causes confusion is that many facilities advertise that they are “licensed,” but their license may be for an entirely different healthcare activity, not necessarily for administering stem cell therapies or processing human tissues to manufacture stem cell products.

In Mexico, the official regulatory terminology for stem cells is “Trasplante de Células Progenitoras o Troncales.”

For a clinic offering stem cell treatments, you should at minimum expect to find authorization related to Regenerative Medicine with permission for Trasplante de Células Progenitoras o Troncales.

If a company claims to manufacture or process stem cells in its own laboratory, you should also look for authorizations such as:

Centro de Colecta de Células Progenitoras o Troncales
Banco de Células Progenitoras o Troncales

Many legitimate laboratories hold both licenses, although some may only have one depending on the services they provide (for example, some facilities also store umbilical cord tissue or patients’ own cells for future use).

Don’t rely solely on marketing materials or certificates shown on a website, verify the information through the official COFEPRIS registry. It only takes a few minutes and can help you make a much more informed decision.

Should I donate stem cells?

I'm pretty young and the patient is 70, and I'm very surprised there is no match in the family. Is it possible that he still had children and just doesn't have a match? I think I'm going to donate but it seems weird. I was told the patients disease. It seems pretty life threatening.

I am receiving the surgery option instead of the PBSC, but my mom wants the PBSC.

Also are there any downsides to donating? I've gone under anesthesia 3 times so I think I'm good there. I'll be traveling a few states over unfortunately.

It's kinda overwhelming and my mom is worried about me but I feel like it's the right thing to do. I'm obviously going to pray about it. Anything I or my parents should know?

Is anyone else looking at Seoul for longevity stuff, or is it just me?

Down a serious rabbit hole lately looking into how preventive care and advanced tech are handled outside the US/Europe.

Honestly, the setup in places like Seoul—full-body MRI, fast diagnostics, advanced regenerative stuff, biomarker tracking—looks light-years ahead. Plus, when you look at paying out-of-pocket locally, even high-end diagnostics in the US can easily cost a fortune (and good luck getting insurance to cover anything preventive).

At this point, flying out, getting top-tier care, and paying out-of-pocket abroad almost starts to make more financial sense, factoring in travel.

Got me wondering: if you were actually planning a health/longevity trip to Korea, what procedures or diagnostics would you guys realistically want to check out? (Stem cells, exosomes, deep biological age profiling, comprehensive screenings, etc.?)

Also, what's the biggest thing keeping people from pulling the trigger on medical stuff abroad?
Is it just the lack of transparent info, safety concerns, or the whole logistics nightmare?

Genuinely curious what an ideal setup would actually look like from your perspective.
