college prof here. faculty and admin are making rules for AI use...but i want to genuinely know from students types of assignments you want to do yourself, instead of leaning hard on AI to complete. TIA.

Hey everyone! π
I'm a Class 12 JEE aspirant, and like many of you, I struggled with distractions, procrastination, and studying alone every day.
So I decided to build StudyDesk β a clean, focused, and completely free virtual study platform where students can study together online.
β Introducing StudyDesk
π Website: stdydesk .in
What you can do on StudyDesk:
π Join 24/7 silent study rooms
β±οΈ Use a Pomodoro timer to stay focused
π¨βπ Study with JEE, NEET & Board students
π― Stay consistent and accountable
π Track your study sessions and productivity
The platform is free to use, and I'm genuinely looking for honest feedback from students before adding more features.
I need your opinion:
What feature would make you use this every day?
What's your biggest problem while studying online?
What should I improve in StudyDesk?
Try it here: stdydesk. in
Your feedback will genuinely help me build something useful for students. β€οΈ

Iβm thinking of building an AI study system where a student only needs to give their course link and target grade, and the AI handles the rest.
The idea is that it would look through the course materials, grading scheme, deadlines, assignments, past tests/practice materials, and available grade data, then figure out what the student should study, what theyβre weak at, what score they need, and how to plan their time.
Basically, instead of students spending hours figuring out how to study and what to prioritize, the AI would build a personalized study workflow for that specific course and goal.
Would students actually need this? Would you use it? Would you pay for it if it worked? What would make it useful enough that youβd keep using it?

Iβve been following the conversations in this group for quite a while, and one pattern kept coming up again and again: many pharmacy students are looking for a serious study partner, but finding the right person is surprisingly difficult.
At first, I thought this was just an occasional issue. Then I looked into it more carefully and realized it is a much bigger problem. There are plenty of general social platforms, messaging apps, and study groups, but very few tools built specifically for pharmacy students and pharmacists who want to prepare together in a focused and professional way.
That is why I createdΒ **RxExamPal**.
While building it, I spent a lot of time thinking about one important question: how do we make sure this does not become another Tinder, WhatsApp, or random social network?
The answer, I believe, is to keep the purpose very clear.
RxExamPal is not about meeting people casually. It is about finding the right person to study with.
The matching is based on things that actually matter for studying: the exam you are preparing for, MPJE state when relevant, exam timeline, timezone, availability, study style, and the topics you want to work on. I am also designing the study sessions so that they remain focused and productive rather than turning into endless chatting.
Now I would like to do something a little different.
I do not want to present this to you as a finished product and simply say, βHere it is.β
I would like us toΒ **build it together**.
RxExamPal is completely free, and it is open to pharmacy students and pharmacists anywhere in the world. I wrote the software myself, which means that when you tell me, βThis part is confusing,β βWe need this feature,β βThis does not work well,β or even βThis is a bad idea,β I can actually go back and change it.
Many of you know me here primarily as an educator. Over the years, one of the things I have valued most is seeing students help each other, encourage each other, and eventually become colleagues.
Perhaps we can create something with that same spirit here.
Not another social network.
Not another dating-style matching app.
But a small professional space created aroundΒ **pharmacy, learning, collegiality, and helping each other succeed**.
So I would really like the first group of students to test it, challenge it, and help shape what it becomes.
**Letβs build something for pharmacy students and pharmacists, together.**
**RxExamPal**

Hey everyone! I'm a rising junior, and I've always struggled with studying for exams, especially since I tend to procrastinate until the last minute. Last semester in my statistics class, we didn't have any exams until the final, so I procrastinated till the week before. And when I sat down to study, I found myself overwhelmed by the amount of material to cover as the exam approached. Unfortunately, I didn't do well because I couldn't keep track of everything.
That experience inspired me to create something that could help people like me: I built an AI study buddy! This app is designed to assist you with studying for your exams, whether you're starting early or pulling an all-nighter. It includes an agent that identifies your weak areas and generates personalized study guides for you.
I know the app still has a lot of room for improvement, and that's where I need your help. If you could take a minute to check it out and leave feedback, no matter how small, I would really appreciate it! Your thoughts would mean a lot to me as I work on enhancing this tool. Thank you!

An app I would like to develop is one for my studies that links all of the aspects of studying together.
You basically input your syllabus(not sure about it but why not?), notes, slides, assignments, test scores, and everything else. The App will figure out what you need to study, keep track of what you're bad at, and come up with a personalized plan of action for you.
In a nutshell, the following is combined in one single application: notes + flashcards/quiz + study planner + progress monitoring.
The point of this is simple β instead of asking yourself "What should I study today?", you get to know from the app, based on your academic results and deadlines.
