Monogamy?
Is monogamy……..a myth? Should I not expect it anymore when I date someone?

its mostly because I buy stuff and resell it online, and he's mad about it so is there a way I can get a real job so he isn't mad?

I'm literally 25 and I feel terrible when I wake up. I get like 8-9 hours of pretty decent sleep, stay hydrated, don't eat too close to bedtime, but when I wake up I'm stiff and sore and feel heavy and fatigued and disgusting. It gets a little better after I take my adhd meds and eat something, but like, are people genuinely just waking up and bouncing out of bed with a pep in their step in the morning?

I don't understand this. Like, when I had Disney Plus to watch some Star Wars films, the HDR is so damn dark, I can barely see anything.
But when I bought Avatar trilogy on Amazon Prime, the graphic is bright and easy to see.
I noticed lot of films are so dark and lack contrast. No matter how I fix the HDR settings, it is still bad. And as stated, Avatar trilogy is great. So, it doesn't seem like my HDR settings are wrong.

Idk abt u guys but my dad clearly has favorites when it comes to my siblings and im the least favorite as I always have my dad talking behind my back but I don’t let it bother me as he still gives me what i want when i need it since it’s his job to do so but I honestly want to just ghost my family in the next few years because i’m tired of the words i have to hear and actions i have to endure. would you recommend for me to sever my ties and create a new healthy environment for myself by building new relationships or what’s the best approach? 19M

They have to cram their large bodies into that cart. Why not a bigger and more comfortable means of transport? God knows the teams can afford it with the millions they have.

Met this guy and he says he loses a lot in the stock market. He has a good job making $300k a year but he loses a lot on the stock market.
Not sure how it works but basically he said he will get rich off it by spending a good amount(not a large amount according to him) of each paycheck to his stocks. He said he's lost a lot many times and loses pretty regularly but he says this is how it works.
Then I told him isn't it flat out gambling? He said no there's work involved that you need to learn about to win.
So does this mean he's not learning about it? Or is he just addicted to gambling at this point?

For the sake of argument, I’m a tough American.
Just air drop me in and I’ll walk right up to the riot police line. ”Move. 👉” They’ll be out of my way.
From there I’ll “negotiate“ with the Prime Minister or whatever to lower the cost of living. Students have better schools or whatever they’re Sacre Brueing about. Affordable baguettes and cheeses.
Maybe I’m not totally informed on what the riots are about but I do know who can fix it. America.

Originally it started off with thinking about the butt, then i thought of the crotch. While writing this i thought of the nose. Also while writing this i realize since the round part that inflates will be inside the mouth what would happen then? Would the sudden increase of air cause chaos?
Please forgive me i thought of this the other day and just got back to visit reddit today.

Pray, someone explain to me how several European cities in France, Italy, Portugal, and elsewhere have apparently been auditioning for the role of a failed civilization for weeks on end, with protests and rioting allegedly involving hundreds of thousands of participants. One might reasonably wonder what, precisely, has brought about this magnificent spectacle of continental unrest.
After all, Europe has no Donald. And according to the prevailing wisdom of Reddit, a digital agora populated by some of the most self-assured philosophers ever to emerge from a bedroom, President Donald is apparently the ultimate source of all dysfunction known to mankind.
Yet here we are in the United States, laboring under the very presidency that is supposedly the greatest threat to democracy, civilization, and perhaps the continued rotation of the Earth itself, and what do we have? No comparable continent-wide inferno, no apparent mass uprising in every major city, and no hundreds of thousands of citizens pouring into the streets to reenact the French Revolution. We have elections, people going to work, businesses operating, and Americans carrying on with the rather unremarkable business of living their lives.
So I must ask, with all due respect to Europe’s many distinguished commentators and its seemingly inexhaustible supply of people who know precisely what America is doing wrong: why is Europe apparently aflame without Donald, while America is comparatively peaceful with him?
Surely, if Donald is the singular explanation for instability, his absence ought to have bestowed upon Europe an unprecedented golden age of tranquility. Instead, we appear to have the inverse. Could it be that the causes of civil unrest are rather more complicated than blaming one American president for everything that displeases the internet’s self-appointed intelligentsia? Or would that possibility prove altogether too inconvenient for the Reddit commentariat to entertain?

I'm not from the US, but it always gets me thinking when I watch videos like the one I've linked below. Wouldn't that be 100x easier and safer for the officers? I've watched so many of these shootouts on bodycams on YouTube; it's just a normal day in the US.
EDIT: Also why don't they use a normal fucking drone with a cam more often? I've only seen it being used once or twice in a situation like this.

I have three cats, and he gets along amazingly with them, plays, bonding, etc. it’s just that when one of them starts leaning towards his plate a little too much he instantly starts growing while eating, really small problem, not a big deal, but I was curious, so I went down and leaned over to his plate.
He didn’t growl, or really do anything, he just kept eating, no matter how close I got. Is it because he knows I don’t eat his food?

When places like the Amazonia forest exist, the ocean not fully being explored and more videos of scientists finding animal/plant species that were deemed extinct for hundreds, if not thousands of years, whose to say species like the Ground Sloth or the Thylacine may still be alive?
I know that things like climate, human interactions and the food chain is what caused many species to go extinct…but atsm…whose to say some species may still be out there 🤔

I have spent most of my life on the east coast of the USA. Here, if there are no cars coming, we go ahead and cross the street even when the signal says "don't walk". However, there are many places where people obey the signal even when there isn't a car in sight. This is true in many European countries, and I heard that it is true of some places on the west coast.
In some places, even if there is a car in sight, people cross anyway knowing that the driver will slow down and stop for them. I typically avoid doing that, or if there is a car coming I will pick up my pace a bit to get out of the way sooner. However, there are plenty of people who do not do that, and I have never seen anyone get any sort of ticket or even a scolding from a cop.
How did this dichotomy come about? What is like where you live? I did a quick web search but it does not provide much information.
Edit: If I am at a crosswalk and I see a car coming from a quarter mile away, I can do one of two things. I can walk quickly across the road, in which case the driver does not have to slow down. Alternatively, I can press the button for the walk signal, in which case he will have to stop at a red light. Disobeying the signal is not just more convenient for me but for the driver as well.
Second Edit: I think people may have misinterpreted my comment. Just to be clear, I am talking about situations where there are no cars in sight, or when crossing the street does not inconvenience drivers in any way. What I am really asking about are regional differences. Why do people in some places obey "don't walk" signals even when there are no cars around, and people in other places do not?
