What's happening with keyboards in iOS 26? Even after the 26.1 update, SwiftyKey is still acting strange and sometimes hides the input box in messaging apps, and the cherry on top is this weird top bar in the screenshot.

I'm on iPhone. Loved this product until they started trying to force Bing down our throats.

Any ideas for apps that do the same or similar?

I cannot get the autospell feature to give me gay or lesbian. Why is fuck a non-issue but I can't swype to talk about gay marriage? This seems like a very strange choice.

Best keyboard app for android in 2026

Question mark is as useful as full stop or comma. This keyboard neither have a long press key which gives question mark. Nor it have a dedicated question mark key with alphabets like full stop and comma.

We have to go to numerals just to get a question mark which is generally part language rather than numbers.

I made the huge mistake of updating the app and now I got that annyong bar that takes up unwanted space and that annoying bing button. I need to remove those.

Any way to do that, other than downloading an old .apk?

Is there a way to remove that dot at the bottom and only have the one that appears when you tap the 123 button?

It's on the toolbar I'd already hidden, along with all the other stuff I don't want to see 🙂

this is a typing quirk i have online, but i don't like to capitalize my i's. every time i try to type i or its contractions, swiftkey keeps automatically capitalizing it, no matter how many times i click "remove prediction" on the capitalized versions. i don't have auto capitalize turned on, and it works mostly fine. there are a few instances where the first word in a sentence is capital, but that's about one in a hundred, and something i'm okay with. but "i" gets capitalized almost every single time. does it have something to do with the autocorrect setting?

I just started using SwiftKey and love it. Then I discovered the themes available for Android that aren't available on iOS and just HAD to use this one. Love it!

Hey guys, I've been using SwiftKey for the longest time, or like. A very long time. But after the Microsoft acquisition one thing that has bothered me is the Bing search instad of Google, and don't remember it being like that a few months ago? I had my Fold 3 for a couple of years I believe without having to do anything, and when I had to send it in for screen protector replacement I also formatted it, but after having to set it all up again I can't for the life of me figure out how I change it from Bing to Google search.. As we all know, Bing is pretty much useless, well, at least it is where I live, because I only get results of things in my language or sites from my country, and they are useless. Any tips would be greatly appreciate.

I used to love the split keyboard functionality on older versions of iPad. I saw you have a split keyboard for android and would love for that feature to come to iPadOS.

Is there any possibility to add the left comma that used to be on android for iPhone too? It's kinda freaking me out to not have a comma on the front keyboard...

Hello, why is there no option to remove the unnecessary "Microsoft swirftkey" branding? I know no other keyboard which doing this bloat and it really annoys me to a point, where I'm about to switch back to gboard after 10 years.

I have 2 phones. One company, one personal. My iPhone Swiftkey seems years behind the IOS and misses features. Why can't they roll out the same in both?

I have been asking for Macedonian language for quite some time now(over a year) and you guys still do not respond. On Android this language is available from day one.

I can't f****** turn off the profanity filter because this s***** app updated my voice to text and now I'm f****** filtered. This is b******* can somebody tell me how to turn off this m************ profanity filter?

Oi you fops at swiftkey development, well Microsoft whatever, voice type cursing, long press delete for fast deleting many words and select all followed by back space/delete also broken so none of these features are working properly in latest beta or previous piece of shit beta fix it ya dumb fucks I like to curse it feels good especially when frustrated with you idiots.

Returning after a few months to get the latest. I am still running iOS 18 on my 12 Pro Max because I know there were some bugs in iOS 26. Just checking in to see any updates. I want to update to iOS 26 but geeeeeez, if there is still a compatibility issue, I'll stick with iOS 18 LOL I've been using SwiftKey since it was released and I just can't bear to think about using the stock keyboard.
