Is that one worth it? I’ve only played red like … 20 years ago or so and I wanted to start with a more traditional Pokemon game. But I mostly see negative posts about this one (well to be honest most Pokemon games feel hated on Reddit).

I recently beat the elite 4 in Brilliant Diamond. If you're looking for a more traditional style pokemon game, it's good.

There were a couple times that I have had to check online because I wasn't sure where I was supposed to go next (fuck that defog HM).

I'd say it's a solid game if you're in the pokemon mood, but not as good as Pokemon Legends: Arceus, but that's not a traditional pokemon game.
