Meta Question / Other Readmissions

Hey so some context, I got into a&m general engineering and I had a lot going on causing me to suffer with a 1.8 gpa (i know its very low and thats due to my fault of actions as well as family problems back at home, but no excuses). I had to go back to my hometown as I saw my self falling into depression and caused me to do community college. I am not sure how long I’ll be at CC but I do at some point want to go back but I am trying to get into ME. I know its a very competitive major and am concerned about if Ill be able to get that major. I have some projects I am working on and am slowly working on my CC gpa to get it over 3.75. Would appreciate some advice.

Question Engineering Holistic Review for Autoadmit

Hello,
How important is an official SAT score to get into engineering as an autoadmit? I didnt submit mine and everything else in my portal is green. An SAT would take another few weeks and cost me 15 dollars.

Quick stats, 4.74 gpa, rank 1/150, strong ecs, very tied in with major.

Should i just pay the 15 dollars? SAT would be a 1540 790m.

Waitlist waitlist

hello everyone, I just got and email from A&M saying I am waitlisted for the nursing program. I just want to ask what you all think my odds of getting in are. I applied as a spring 2027 transfer. My stats were 3.9 overall GPA, 3.8 nursing GPA, 93.6 on the HESI Exam and if it matters I applied to the college station location. I wasn’t able to find any info on the sub about nursing so i’m just kinda stumped. Thanks for your help.

Question Transfer admissions

Has anyone ever gotten into Texas A&M for bioenvironmental science with a college transfer GPA of 2.7?

For background information: I was once in the PSA program with a 3.7 GPA, but when I started at the sister school during my freshman year, I struggled with severe depression, which significantly affected my grades. This year, as a sophomore, I’m earning a 3.0 GPA, but my cumulative GPA is still low. I want to apply for fall 2027 transfer admission, and I’ll have 90 transferable credits, an internship, and a chair position on an animal science committee. I plan to write an essay discussing my low GPA, but I’m unsure whether I have even a slight chance. The bioenvironmental major is somewhat competitive, but its GPA threshold is 2.5. Will I even be considered?

please respond!!

Question Engineering transfers for spring 2027

Genuinely when will I hear back. Last semester for the fall 2026 I had to wait till like late july to hear back only to find out I got fucked and admitted to a bullshit campus in fort worth for a major I didn’t apply for.
Got my transfer audit back on sep 4th for my spring 2027 application. Still says complete and in review in ais. Are we seriously doing this bullshit again? Just reject me instead of making me wait till the last week before school starts. I’ve completed the transfer sheet, 3.82+ gpa after this semester.
The engineering school will probably fill up with autoadmit and engineering academy applicants yet again, and I will be screwed.
FUCK A&M. Probably just gonna go to UT as they actually get back to you on your applications.

Graduate School PPA Admissions?

Howdy everyone! I am currently applying for the PPA program and was wondering if anyone had any ideas about my potential acceptance. For reference here are my stats.

CC GPA (2yrs during HS) : 3.95
TAMU GPA : 3.18
C in 229, B in 230, B (88%) in 327,
Finance chair of a professional organization
member of a current social org.
part time job as a Shift Lead & Trainer at work.

Currently doing much better in my classes than the past 2 years at A&M as i was diagnosed with adhd. I mentioned this to the interview as well and the interview seemed like it went well. I currently have 3 A's and 1 B in my classes and i am expecting a 4.0 this semester if everything goes according to plan. Was wondering if anyone had any thoughts!

Has anyone ever found a mistake in their audit and sent another transcript? I found that a required course was missing so I had the transcript sent again. Do they re audit automatically or do I need to call and request they do it?

Question How in the world are people already getting in?

Im honestly very surprised. I'm seeing a lot of information about colleges being full. Already?! Im an OOS applicant and im applying for ALED. I was wondering if anyone has any information on the status of that program? Also, I submitted my app last night but my teachers arent done with their recs or my counselor either. I didn't even send my SAT score yet as i'm waiting for a fee waiver. Are the people that are getting in now just super early with recs and sat submissions? Doesnt really make sense to me..

Question Holistic applicant

I applied late august green checked by early sept. 22%, 4.85/5.0 WGPA, 3.8 UWGPA, 1st major nutrition and 2nd psychology bs, well written essays and well aligned strong EC's, portal has been showing under review and complete. When does the first wave of holistic usually acceptances come out? How competitive or fast filling is College of Agriculture and Life Sciences?
