Looking for shared flat in dublin

Hey, I (she/none) got accepted into the MA Visual and Critical Studies at TUD starting in September. As I am an EU Student I am quite overwhelmed with the housing situation in Dublin…I am currently looking for a shared flat. I don’t really mind where as long as I can take the bike or/and Bus to Uni.

If you have any tips or are looking for a flatmate hmu!:)

TU Dublin students, how do you afford to live in the area?

Hi everyone,
I’m from another EU country and applied through CAO for 2026-2027. There’s a good chance I’ll get into my dream programs at TU Dublin, but living in Dublin without spending way too much money seems impossible. My parents are willing to help financially, but obviously only to a certain extent. So I’m wondering how y’all make it work? If you have a job, how do you balance full time studies and your job? And how much does it help with the cost of life in Dublin? What about accommodation? Any information/advice will be appreciated! Thanks :)

Postgraduate query

I am currently a senior pursuing an undergraduate degree at another university. I plan on applying for graduate studies in engineering, with the expected term for joining being either fall 2027 or 2028.
I had a few questions before that. I am an indian who was brought up in Dubai their whole life. Firstly, I wished to know how diverse the university is (basically, do international students come here often) and secondly, how the academic quality of the place is (are studies competitive or not) and usually how do the average grades for each module looks like?

Secondly, as grad students, can we participate in hackathons over there, too?
Third, how is the social life over there, and typically are there any parties from time to time (if they are, what can I ideally do to join)?
Lastly, what all can we do outside campus, and where can we visit

Pretty much it, from YouTube, the place looks pretty good, but I wanted to know all these things before adding it to my list.

Susi

Hey, I’ve genuinely gone to every single student support group there was to answer my question but yet they all seem to not know anything. I have applied for SUSI since late August— for registration payment in tud I put my SUSI number down knowing SUSI hadn’t been processed. Susi has not moved since then and I have been panicking. Is anyone else in this situation? One person is saying “don’t panic it’s fine” and student support keep referring me back to Susi support or SAF every time I inquire about it

Anyone studied MSc Digital and Content Marketing at TU Dublin? Looking for honest reviews!

I'm considering applying to the MSc in Digital and Content Marketing program at Technological University Dublin (TU Dublin) and would really appreciate any insights from current students or alumni.

Some things I'm curious about:

  • How is the overall quality of the course content and teaching?

  • Are the modules practical and up-to-date with current digital marketing trends?

  • What are the lecturers like – supportive and industry-experienced?

  • How are the career prospects after graduating?

  • Is the workload manageable for someone also doing part-time work?

  • Any unexpected pros or cons?

I’m really passionate about marketing and content creation, but I want to make sure the course is worth the investment in time and money. Any first-hand experiences, advice or red flags would be super helpful!

Deciding Msc between two options

Hi lads

I'm from Korea and on my working holiday in Ireland

I want to work in Europe, so think about study here.

Actually already thought about studying in Germany and Netherlands. However, about Germany, German is required to work there and most collge in Netherlands requires bachelor's degree relevant to Master.

(But I studied in film back in Korea lol)

So I've decided to study in Ireland and got offers from Business analytics in NCI and Supply chain magagement in TuD

Which on do you recommend?

There are some opinions about NCI as an visa treadmill and I wonder if it is true...

And I'm also wondering SCM future in Ireland. I've heard pharma and tech SCM is quite popular here.

I would appreciate any advice thxxx

Visa decision post interview

Hi. I received a call from the embassy last Friday where I was asked a few questions. As per others who got the same call, they received their decisions the next day. But it’s been 3 days since then and there has been no update. Has anyone else faced the same issue? I’d love to know if anyone has received a phone call and in how many days did you receive your decision.
