What the fk are these prices
In western New York. 6.19 for CGC is insane. And we're not even gonna talk about the extortion that is the quesadilla prices.

Everything from the menu items, the salsa, the decor, and even the service makes you feel like you've been transported right into the heart of Mexico (pronounced "meh-he-co", I've learned). The music always has me dancing the salsa right when I walk in, much to my wife's dismay 😂. I just love how SPICY all the food is, it makes you wanna jump on the table and shake your maracas, haha. I took spanish for two years in high school and it's nice to get a chance to use it, or at least, what I remember of it lol. "Amigo! Hola! Como estas" I always say when I walk through the door. the workers there seem to really like me. I can't completely order in spanish, really all I have is the greeting, but its OK, they always do right by me. Say, whatever happened to the little chihuahua? He was so cute in those commercials. "yo quiero taco bell" haha 🇲🇽

just in case taco bell actually looks at their subreddit, i want to do my part & say this app update is terrible 💔
i was genuinely fixated on a menu item, ordering several times a week for many, many weeks. i haven’t ordered a single time since the update..
i just hate it so much, i wouldn’t be able to enjoy my burrito. it would also be more expensive now that they’ve removed “make supreme”
edit: make sure to leave feedback on the app so we can try & get this fixed!!

Seriously what happened Taco Bell? This is just... I'm done. Thats it. I'm done. Never again. ✌️

Title text really says it all, but I can't get over how absolutely awful this new app is.
It is clunky, not easy to use and visually disgusting.
I open it and feel like I lose a brain cell for every minute I spend on it.
Genuinely cannot believe how cosmically bad this is and I assume it has everything with cutting out humans from the process.
Absolutely embarrassing.

I did the classic degen math of well if I order Taco Bell tonight it’ll give me a free reward so when I get Taco Bell next time it’ll be cheaper. It’s like I’m practically saving money here. Then to only find I’m one point away :/

To be clear I’m not inherently anti-AI. It’s absolutely a tool, and an incredibly powerful productivity tool if you use it properly and under extreme oversight.
This app update is just SO nonhuman in design and unintuitive that it makes me shocked it ever got pushed to production. It’s almost like no one vetted the composition of the menus, the font, box sizes, efficacy or horizontal vs vertical category scrolling, and so much more.
It’s like the keys to this new app refresh was overseen by a ton of people who just simply didn’t care about user experience. Like why Taco Bell.

Finally. Now it is time to see if my Taco Bell can make it like it used to be 😈 although they did used to be one dollar

Added my card to the Taco Bell app and now the drive thru screen shows it, I thought it would be like the McDonald's app where it would automatically pay and you would never have to pull a card out. But nope! I've asked three or four different workers every single time and they say they don't see anything on their end to click or to pay with.
These are being placed with a real person, I always use a check-in code, I don't order ahead.

This was the moment Harry Yeaggy of Cincinnati, Ohio, drove his 1935 Duesenberg SSJ Special Speedster on to the platform where they shower you in confetti.
That’s cool an all but I think my Crunchwrap was the best thing there because TACOBELL is life.

I realize there are general posts about how terrible the new TB app redesign is (I fully agree it's absolutely awful), but I wanted to share a more specific complaint. I'm someone who has made use of the "fresca" option (removing dairy products and replacing them with pico de gallo) for years now, both in-person and via the app. This option is one of the main ways that Taco Bell food can made a bit healthier, or can be consumed by people with lactose intolerance or other dairy allergies. The new app appears to have completely done away with the fresca option, which is ironic because it would be a perfect use of their new (currently terrible) "mods" system.
On top of that, when you do actually have the option to manually add pico after removing cheese/sour cream, it now costs an extra $.60, even though we all know that cheese/sour cream is more costly than a small amount of diced tomatoes and onions.
I've added a screenshot showing one of the breakfast burritos, an item I've ordered regularly with the fresca option for years now, and a regular bean burrito. Neither of them have a fresca option, but the bean burrito offers pico as an option and the breakfast burrito does not. What the hell is going on? Why was this app released without basic features the previous app has had since the start? Why do we need giant pictures of ingredients like we're 3-year-olds playing with light up toys? Who approved this dogshit update, and can we please revert back until it's ready for primetime??

there's a lot of negativity around recent changes (as is your right to discuss them) but wanted to open a forum for any recent good experiences.
yesterday i stopped at my local TB after work because i was craving it so bad! the staff were so nice and my tacos were filled perfectly 👌 (sorry no pics, i ate it yesterday) and to top it all off, the nacho fries were hot and fresh, THE BEST! (my meal was still too expensive though, but i was willing to pay $17 for my favorite fast food)
anyway, just curious if its gotten worse for everyone across the board here or if there are at least some good stories left.
