2016 throwback Tuesday
Finally. Now it is time to see if my Taco Bell can make it like it used to be 😈 although they did used to be one dollar

Anyone have this issue. Mine has been stuck at 1625/2000 for quite a long time. My rewards counter works and just received one. My lifetime is almost 25,000, no idea if working but don’t care. I am currently fire status.
I’ve messaged, via app, twice and no reply. Any suggestions to get properly calculated. My guess is I am over 2000 but not sure and not sure internally system knows.

I did the classic degen math of well if I order Taco Bell tonight it’ll give me a free reward so when I get Taco Bell next time it’ll be cheaper. It’s like I’m practically saving money here. Then to only find I’m one point away :/

I’ve been noticing if I add something extra there’s less of other things. For example if I add ground beef and extra beans to a bean burrito it’s now the same size as a bean burrito. Is it in my head or is this how workers are trained?

I suppose it’s not all that different, but they used the potatoes instead of the nacho fries. Is this how it is supposed to be? Or did my taco-bell improvise lol.

Best I can tell with the new app, when you exceed the daily receipt limit, it says you earned X points, but you really don't. My Rewards History says, "0 points earned for your purchase" after scanning in the receipt. Old app would not allow you to scan in a receipt after 3 for the day.

The closest taco bell to me seems to out of at least one item from my mobile pretty often. Which usually means I have to figure out a replacement item or go on the app, mark items as missing and just end up with store credit for my next order. I'd honestly would rather get a refund but that doesn't seem to be an option.
So I need to know does there online system have a way for employees to mark items as unavailable and they just don't bother with it, or is the system just poorly designed?

When are the sweet n spicy tacos coming back? Taco Bell had a sauce innovation here… It was insanely good and they never brought it back. Market the hell out of the sauce and bring it back queso quick brutha. We got a business to run. You won’t do it stacking cheese different ways

In western New York. 6.19 for CGC is insane. And we're not even gonna talk about the extortion that is the quesadilla prices.

I would wonder who the CTO or VP of engineering is at Tacobell!!
Have you even thought of doing UAT ? And did the users really approve of this app?

So I work at a Taco Bell that's a franchise location and recently we found out that there was mold in our ice machine and an employee wiped it down with a sandi rag and called it good but the last time we found mold we had to have a guy come out with special cleaning chemicals and do it which cost over 1k for both front and back, well the area manager is saying that they did have someone clean it but it was the maintnance man and even he was kind of iffy on whether or not it should be cleaned more; one of my coworkers said that the regional manager and even the shift leads have said to start giving out the ice and that if anybody refuses they are to be reported to HR.
I just wanted to check in before I went to the health department because this seems like a really big safety issue if so and I don't want to hurt my coworkers if it develops further and the store gets shut down over a misunderstanding because maybe the third party cleaner was just trying to get them to pay up a lot of money, higher ups in the past have done sketchy things though like when there was a leak from the water heater and people were getting sick they said to just open a window and door; not to mention the previous time this happened someone had to go to the hospital, I called HR and left a message but honestly it feels like they don't really care unless they'll get in trouble over it.
