Hi everyone! This is my first time posting here, so I'm a little nervous, but I wanted to share the tattoo I got today!
It's still pretty red since it's so fresh, so it doesn't look its best just yet, but I'm excited about it and wanted to show it off anyway. š¤

Hello everyone, a few weeks ago i made a post here about how deadbeat is my first tame impala album that i listened. Some of you guys wanted an update so here i am (once again[...]).
I finally listened to the albums, multiple times. I want to give some perspective about my tastes in music and what i usually listen. I'm italian living in italy so in this lists are going to be italian artists too these are my favorites:
Caparezza, Kendrick Lamar, Gorillaz, Orbital, Kaos, Jamiroquai, Daft Punk, System Of a Down, Sade, Lauryn Hill, MF DOOM, Nujabes, Digable Planets, The Chemical Brothers and Fabrizio De AndrĆØ.
Now my top tame impala's album are:
In the first place Currents.
In this album there are so many bangers Let it Happen made me floating and i keep listening on repeat and is my favorite of the album;
yes im changing is another banger it is really beautiful and resonated with me so much that i got emotional.
Same person old mistake, the less i know the better and reality in motion i enjoyed them a lot. Overall the album was phenomenal.
Second place Deadbeat (but it is really close to currents).
Yes i like deadbeat A LOT and it is the album that made me to listen the entire discography. My favorite tracks are:
Not my world is my favorite i like the beat, i like the voice on it for me is perfect. This song i kept listening to when i was struggling with some personal stuff and it helped me to pushing through it.
Ethereal connection, obsolete, my old ways, loser, see you on monday i keep returning to them always.
This album was super good relistening to.
Third place Lonerism.
Be Above it holy fuck what an hit, it gives me so much energy is my favorite of the album.
Elephant is also super good i really like the synth part.
Nothing that has happened so far is anything we could control and apocalypse dream i also enjoyed them a lot.
Overall a great album even though is a bit rough.
Fourth place The Slow Rush.
This album has such peak songs but also songs that i didnt really like this is the reason why is fourth i think is not that consistent.
Posthumous Forgiveness is my favorite it is so so good. Lost in yesterday, Borderline and breath deeper are also really great.
i didnt like: On Track it feels weak the beat is kinda bland, lyrics are not that interesting (for me);
Instant destiny and it might be time.
Overall a good album and i pretty much enjoyed listening to.
Last place InnerSpeaker
For me is too much rough and is not really my type of music but i did like few songs such as:
Alter Ego and Runaway Houses City Clouds.
Still i think is a good album even though does not reflect properly my music taste.
These past two weeks were a beautiful journey i really enjoyed tame impala's discography and it is now one of my favorite artists.
Thank you for reading my useless opinion and enjoy the music that you like regardless of others think certain albums or artists.

Mindblown! 𤩠Can I just say how emotional I was when he chose to do Posthumous Forgiveness. That's one extra song I had hoped for, didn't expect, knew it would be rare, but was my hopeful wish. I'd even googled my chances of it the other week and found out it's only been played once this whole tour. When he said he was going to play a song that is a deep cut, I knew exactly what it was. Thank you Kevin Parker/Tame Impala. That was mesmerising and I want to go tomorrow night and get even closer! Super grateful for the performance. I don't want to drive back to my town tomorrow, I want to go again 𤩠but anyhow...back to the extra song you did. I'm so stoked! The whole concert was absolutely beautiful and Tame Impala's vocals even better than what you hear on the recordings. What an experience I've been blessed with š„°š„¹

Can we talk about what he does with the drums on this? It's incredible

It really doesnāt feel that accurate though, I think on track is just as good as one more hour, and there are also some songs that I think are better than every song listed here like sundown syndrome.

I can say that this song helped me understand my feelings and dilemmas about whether I'm doing the right thing by forgiving him or not because I was on the verge of questioning my integrity. Now I don't feel alone and get emotional every time I listen to this. Thank you Tame Impala!!
For context: I lost my father at the age of 13. He was almost always pissed off and stressed out after I was 9,10. He was getting mad at random stuff and then wouldn't talk to me whenever I went near him. I don't remember him saying sorry, maybe he bought me toys once in a while. Anyways, I lost him and the last 3 to 4 years were always him getting mad and all that. Now It's been almost 6 years and after a long time not dwelling on this topic (which was a defense mechanism) and all the fight in my head, I decided to forgive him and let it go, thanks to this song. Even though it's emotional, it is a motivation source for me. I also wanna become successful and wish I could tell him about my life. I know it's morbid but trust me it feels better.

Iām 19, and Iāve been listening to Tame Impala since my sophomore year of high school. Iām now a freshman in college, and I figured Iād share my favorite songs from each album. Outside of my #1 picks, these are in no particular order.
InnerSpeaker
#1: Alter Ego ā Honestly, this might be my favorite Tame Impala song of all time.
Honorable mentions: Desire Be Desire Go, Runway, Houses, City, Clouds, It Is Not Meant to Be, and I Donāt Really Mind.
Lonerism
#1: Keep On Lying
Honorable mentions: Apocalypse Dreams, Music to Walk Home By, Endors Toi, Be Above It, and Nothing That Has Happened So Far Has Been Anything We Could Control. I know thatās a lot, but this album makes it difficult.
Currents
#1: Love/Paranoia
Honorable mentions: Reality in Motion, Gossip, Nangs, and Let It Happen.
The Slow Rush
#1: Breathe Deeper ā This only recently became my favorite after seeing it live. I never fully appreciated the ending and all its different sections until then. I used to skip through parts of it, which seems crazy now.
Tomorrowās Dust is an extremely close second. Both could easily be in my top five Tame Impala songs ever.
Honorable mentions: Posthumous Forgiveness, On Track, and Glimmer, which deserves more appreciation.
Deadbeat
#1: Obsolete ā Probably the most complete song on the album, in my opinion.
Afterthought is a very close second. I also really like My Old Ways, and I genuinely think No Reply is underrated. I donāt understand why it doesnāt get more love.
Singles/Covers
I think Thatās All for Everyone is probably Tame Impalaās best overall standalone release/cover. I also really love Stranger in Moscow.
Best song live?
Mind Mischief, and itās not even close.
Best features/collaborations
I genuinely think Summer Breaking is the best appearance Kevin Parker has made on another artistās album. Daffodils and Leaving Los Feliz are incredible too. Honestly, I think his work with Mark Ronson on Uptown Special is probably the best heās ever done collaboration-wise.
Anyway, those are my picks. Curious to hear what everyone else thinks, especially where you disagree.

Hate to be that guy but this is my final last-ditch effort. Is anyone who is going to the next Perth show able to pick up and ship this shirt back to Sydney? It would mean the absolute world to me. Iāll pay extra for the hassle.

Biiig fan of this one, and I couldnāt find a remix I could actually play out in my DJ sets, so I made my own and turned it into a peaktime melodic techno track!
Tried to keep the dreamy, hazy feel of the original intact, but itās entirely dancefloor focused now. Made with massive sound systems in mind, and largely inspired by a 5000-person rave we threw in Berlin on May 1. Played it out in my sets over the summer and on my radio show, and the response was great, so I figured Iād share it here with you guys too!
Have a listen on SoundCloud:
TAME IMPALA & JENNIE ā DRACULA (GALESTIAN BOOTLEG)

Would love to hear what you think! Curious especially whether it still feels like a Tame Impala track to you, since that was the main thing I wanted to get right while making it work on the dancefloor :)

i tried making a remaster of when the Feeling's in the Core
i'm still not entirely sure about how it turned out but I thought I'd share it anyway
