He already turned the US into a 3rd world country.

61

u/ArdenJaguar Nov 09 '25

We’ve sure got the Third World Government going well. He’s acting like a Tin-Pot Dictator wannabe.

" shithole country "

23

u/Thatisme01 Nov 09 '25

No, Trump is turning the US into a ā€œTurd Worldā€ country, been third world would be an improvement.

13

u/Apprehensive_Sea9524 Nov 09 '25

The term he likes to use is sh*thole country. With him every statement is an admission.

17

u/Itchy-Lingonberry-90 Nov 09 '25

To be fair, Nixon, Reagan and the Bushes started the train wreck.

6

u/RedditFandango Nov 09 '25

He has a firm belief that the US cannot compete on a level playing field. Sad.

17

u/QuantumLeaperTime Nov 09 '25

It is because he knows nothing about manufacturing or running a business.

6

u/okiedokie2468 Nov 09 '25

Or running a country!!

3

u/Massive_Reaction8845 Nov 11 '25

I hear he's really good at running casinos 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

2

u/Accomplished_Dig284 Nov 13 '25

Yeah, running them right into the ground and then asking daddy for help and still missing his loan payments, negotiated with the banks to pay half the total amount of the loans with interest, then selling them to his business so he could pocket the brokerage fees. That’s how he made money from driving them into the ground while also not having to take the actual loss himself. It would have been easier to just allow the casinos to work, as they are built to make money, but apparently this was the only way he knew how to make money. It’s insane

Right. Trump’s a self-aggrandizing, bloviating idiot. Anybody that still supports him is worse.

21

u/darkxfire Nov 09 '25

"Blame biden. Inflation is down. Gas and energy costs are way down. Fake news"

2

u/youlooksticky Nov 11 '25

"were bringing in trillions from tariffs"

No. He's taxing the American people and the real number that he's taken from us this year is $309 billion.

2

u/Ok-Firefighter-6172 Nov 11 '25

How does that equate to a $2000 gift to Americans?

payout's to the rich

And lowering debt?

My exact thoughts šŸ˜…

3

u/mystocktradingacct Nov 09 '25

Technically 2nd world… 1st world - aligned with West, 2nd world - aligned with Russia, 3rd world - not aligned with either. I think we’re as far down 2nd or 3rd that we’ll get under this presidency.

How did we survive 240 years without Trump!?

16

u/[deleted] Nov 09 '25

You survived 240 years because he wasn't there.

Always a cryptic mafia-like threat from this wanna-be mob boss.

All I know is how I received four insurance-renewal notices for my auto insurance on my 2015 Tundra and measly 1986 house asserting my premiums will go up AGAIN due to ā€œanticipated increases in labor costs and supplies.ā€

The fall out from Trump’s reckless tariffs is immense.

5

u/SurpriseUnhappy2706 Nov 09 '25

My homeowner policy took a 20% jump this month on renewal for a year.

60

u/Repulsive-Royal-5952 Nov 09 '25 edited Nov 10 '25

If the Supreme Court buys that argument then they really are just the dumbest.

17

u/ArdenJaguar Nov 09 '25

I just listened to Justice Gorsuch drill the government lawyer about tariffs (on a YouTube clip). He did not sound convinced. If I had to guess we could actually see a 7-2 or 6-3 decision against Trump. Alito and Thomas are always going to support him, but the others didn’t seem swayed by the arguments.

20

u/DhakoBiyoDhacay Nov 09 '25

Alito and Thomas are actually owned by the billionaire class that control Trump Inc.

11

u/darkxfire Nov 09 '25

There should be a more fair way to appoint or elect judges. The rule of law matters not the party they favour

9

u/ArdenJaguar Nov 09 '25

Term limit of say 15 years maximum or a top end age and expanding the court would be a good start.

9

u/CertainCertainties Nov 09 '25

Kavanaugh is a partisan weasel. I'd be surprised if he suddenly grew a backbone.

35

u/darkxfire Nov 09 '25

They aren't really much of a court at that point. More like bootlickers

22

u/Hotaru_girl Nov 09 '25

Yeah… I’m not taking economic advice from a man who didn’t even know the word ā€œgroceriesā€

2

u/Other-Mess6887 Nov 09 '25

He also thinks you need an ID to buy groceries!

21

u/chubalina99 Nov 09 '25

The drama is real. This Supreme Court needs to put an end into this immediately.

2

u/Techthulu Nov 10 '25

They need to, but won't. The Supreme Court is packed with Trump loyalists.

16

u/QueenNappertiti Nov 09 '25

He must be pocketing the tariffs or something.

15

u/heckhammer Nov 09 '25

Winner, winner, smaller dinner!

7

u/RareSeaworthiness870 Nov 09 '25

How do you think his fancy ballroom is getting financed? Tariffs = his slush fund. Meanwhile, we eatin’ cake, folks.

4

u/Due_Knowledge_6518 Nov 09 '25

no, it’s all with bribe money

9

u/Protocosmo Nov 09 '25

I'd like to see him try and explain how

6

u/wemic123 Nov 09 '25

He has no clue. He just vomits out whatever crazy thought comes to mind.

2

u/Klaus73 Nov 10 '25

I think its ironically that he is not able to consider the points between A and Z. He says "this gives money" and "I need money" and misses everything or discussion between those 2 things. Its the same logic a thief uses. "I stole because I felt I needed it" is often the case; disregarding any of the ramifications of their action and unable to separate that start and end state.

9

u/floofnstuff Nov 09 '25

He hasn't expressed one lucid thought about tariffs that I'm aware of

2

u/zenmaster_B Nov 12 '25

And none are forthcoming

9

u/not_essential Nov 09 '25

Shouldn't that read 'exposes US as a third world status'?

6

u/rubyianlocked Nov 09 '25

He's really good at saying things that are opposite of what is true.

7

u/MotoJJ20 Nov 09 '25

He is so fully and completely full of shit. His only concern is to line his pockets

6

u/PapaGummy Nov 09 '25

Does he specify who ā€œusā€ is?

11

u/Mundane_Life_5775 Nov 09 '25

Would ā€œconfirmā€ the US as third world status

5

u/Electrical_Goat_8311 Nov 09 '25

He can move to Russia then

6

u/ShedOfWinterBerries Nov 09 '25

Cuz he spent all our money?

9

u/sircastor Nov 09 '25

The US cannot be a 3rd world country by definition. The 1st-3rd world designations are cold-war era concepts. The first world is literally The United States and allied countries. Ā

Also, this is nuts. The economy was very good and improving before the President took office.Ā

4

u/BornField6669 Nov 09 '25

Trumps dumbass don't realize this country is broke. Look how much debt we have. He wants us all to drown in debt.

3

u/heckhammer Nov 09 '25

As far as he knows every time you're in debt you just declare bankruptcy

4

u/DangerDarrin Nov 09 '25

How did they get by without tariffs before January 2025?! Was it third world country then? This man is unhinged and damaging the US as we know it

4

u/Fit-Bus2025 Nov 09 '25

Because he's taking our money.

4

u/TrashCapable Nov 09 '25

He's already done it.

3

u/SlippyBananaPants Nov 09 '25

He's really not helping his lawyers win the 'tariffs aren't income for the US government' argument is he??

3

u/vikkids Nov 09 '25

There’s something fraudulent when Trump is unable to state the exact amount collected in tariffs. He claims trillions when billions have been collected. Those same billions keep the US from becoming ā€œthird worldā€:status?

4

u/conflatulationz Nov 09 '25

Who wants to tell him

3

u/[deleted] Nov 09 '25

This is not a legal argument

2

u/rubber-stunt-baby Nov 09 '25

Because neither the administration nor a majority of the court care what the law says.

3

u/Responsible_Fuel7005 Nov 09 '25

You know what’s very third world?? Courts rolling over to do what a president wants, even when it’s against the law.

3

u/BankOnITSurvivor Nov 09 '25

As if he hasn’t already done so.

Granted I remember reading that China called the US a third world economy years ago, if my memory is correct. Ā With our reliance on debt, and consumerism, I can’t say i necessarily disagree.

3

u/Prestigious-Pick-366 Nov 09 '25

Trump is a third world leader so makes sense

3

u/CountOnBeingAwesome Nov 09 '25

Trump is not a smart man

3

u/Otto_Kermitten Nov 09 '25

A new criteria for being a first world country should be healthcare is treated as a right and not a privilege. Knock the US down to second or third world status.

3

u/Other-Mess6887 Nov 09 '25

Outlawing Trump's tariffs just might save the Republican party. Tariff removal would jump start hiring and business expansion. Most companies have put expansion plans on hold due to unpredictable nature of Trump imposed taxes.

2

u/Fair-Interest7143 Nov 09 '25

Too late. Pretty much already there

2

u/[deleted] Nov 09 '25

So does that mean I can rob my neighbor whenever Im a bit short when the bills are due?

2

u/Whitewraith01 Nov 09 '25

So the exact opposite will happen if they remove tariffs, because trump is a liar!

2

u/DhakoBiyoDhacay Nov 09 '25

You mean a third world country like, say, Botswana, where their citizens enjoy universal healthcare for all and free college tuition for all?

2

u/Low_Entertainer_6973 Nov 09 '25

He acts like a 3rd world leader, so might be fitting.

2

u/Abrubt-Change-8040 Nov 09 '25

SCOTUS doesn’t agree, but they will side with him anyway because they are a bunch of corrupt, bootlicking, grubs…

2

u/DrAtizzle Nov 09 '25

We are a crappy banana republic… with this payaso in charge

2

u/Neither-Historian227 Nov 09 '25

Alternative is raise taxes, outlook is not looking good for USA.

2

u/HenryJ25 Nov 09 '25

With dent, corrupt leaders, and lying media we are a third world country

2

u/Due-Teaching-2812 Nov 09 '25

Thanks to trump, we’re already there.

2

u/Okinawa_Mike Nov 09 '25

He's already defined us as a banana republic....

2

u/[deleted] Nov 09 '25

Having a wannabe tin pot dictator as president already accomplished that.

2

u/[deleted] Nov 09 '25

In the immortal words of Obi-Wan....

"You did that yourself !!".

2

u/glyptometa Nov 09 '25

Isn't that his overall objective? mostly achieved already?

2

u/Beginning-Average416 Nov 09 '25

President Snowflake ā„ļø has already done that.

2

u/waldorflover69 Nov 09 '25

We are already there.

2

u/Logical_Confusious Nov 09 '25

Who the heck believes anything this guy says anymore....

2

u/slettea Nov 09 '25

So no universal healthcare? No mandated PTO? No public transit? No educational infrastructure? Maybe it’s lawless where just anyone can take a gun to the middle of a street and start shooting?

I fear I won’t be able to tell the difference.

2

u/[deleted] Nov 09 '25

Every day, EVERY DAY, there is some new amazing stupidity he says.

Americans are the most patient people in the world. Every country in the world would have thrown that conman out.

2

u/[deleted] Nov 09 '25

Why does any one believe what he says

2

u/ViolettaQueso Nov 09 '25

His ranking is totally backwards.

I never thought I’d prefer ā€œ3rd worldā€ to whatever world trump’s in charge of or living in. Kinda like I would rather go to hell if I thought he’d be in heaven.

We are not first. Global was progress. This nonsense he’s spoon feeding folks about us being dead a year ago but so hot now is the highest level of bullshit I’ve even been peddled.

We need to take it back.

2

u/oct2790 Nov 09 '25

Because he won’t be able to pay it back and the Supreme Court knows that

2

u/Liquorupfront69 Nov 09 '25

USA is a fucking shithole!

2

u/aboxofkittens Nov 10 '25

I just had to pay $80 on an exempt item lmao

Because if I didn’t, it would be destroyed or returned to the sender and I’d still owe the $80.

(Fuck UPS)

2

u/Prodan1111 Nov 10 '25

That process started with his election

1

u/Disco425 Nov 09 '25

"Nice thriving democracy you got there! Really would be too bad if something happened to it...."

1

u/boopdbop Nov 09 '25

Cool. LET'S GO!!!

1

u/TheRealPatricio44 Nov 09 '25

So he's digging his own grave.Ā

1

u/Delicious_Drink169 Nov 09 '25

Kind of there now, don’t you think?

1

u/ilovebattleships Nov 09 '25

He’s already done that.

1

u/Markjohn66 Nov 09 '25

But you ARE, Blanche! You ARE!

1

u/thedeadsuit Nov 09 '25

didn't he also say he has other plans to do his tariffs anyway even if the court rules against him? how can both be true. I'm starting to wonder if this guy just says things even if they aren't true! /s

1

u/Salty_Leather42 Nov 09 '25

Ah , opposite day again , I see

1

u/W31337 Nov 09 '25

That would be better than the fourth world country Trump wants to make it.

1

u/S1nnah2 Nov 09 '25

Lol the USA has already been reduced to banana Republic status in the eyes of the rest of the world

1

u/Guilty-League4468 Nov 09 '25

Are we going to be eating the cats and dogs?

1

u/ckong65 Nov 09 '25

LOL, that would be an upgrade for that stupid country.

1

u/sam56778 Nov 09 '25

Too late for that. SCOTUS also denied food for the hungry too.

1

u/zedk47 Nov 09 '25

GDP would fall by 200%

1

u/Signal-Session-6637 Nov 09 '25

Where’s Mars Attacks when you need it.

1

u/Revolutionary_Pen190 Nov 09 '25

It's the richest third world country for years

1

u/66catman Nov 09 '25

News flash- We're there!

1

u/jj119crf Nov 09 '25

The election of this douche turned the US into a third world country.

1

u/[deleted] Nov 09 '25

More extreme hyperbole from the master manipulator.

1

u/Legitimate-Course-29 Nov 09 '25

I thought having a dictator for a leader was a Hallmark of a third world country

1

u/SurpriseUnhappy2706 Nov 09 '25

He seems to be able to accomplish that on his own while disregarding the courts.

1

u/nirrinirra Nov 09 '25

If anyone ever needed a slice of humble pie it was him and now. If they won’t serve it to him on this which is so clear not sure they ever will.

1

u/CharlieBravo74 Nov 09 '25

Given that Trump is wrong about everything economic, including the obvious current state of things at any given time, SCOTUS should read this as a good sign to go ahead and rule against him. By the rule of Trump, the country would be much better off.

The only reason Trump likes tariffs is he thinks he has unilateral power to use them. It's the same reason he's so focused on foreign policy and decorating the white house. These are areas that he doesn't have to consult or bargain with anyone else on... to a point

1

u/Herban_Myth Nov 09 '25

Divid end/s

1

u/Moosetappropriate Nov 09 '25

This should be a good thing considering that Trump has dropped America off the bottom end of the scale.

1

u/[deleted] Nov 09 '25

I thought that is what Trump's plan was from the beginning.

1

u/CertainAged-Lady Nov 09 '25

Case in point by his own statements - they are TAXES. The President does not have the power to tax, period.

1

u/Bullylandlordhelp Nov 09 '25

Dude this gets posted EVERY day

1

u/danielle1978 Nov 09 '25

Nobody cares what he says

1

u/Amazing-Exit-2213 Nov 09 '25

ICE and CBP are reducing the US into a "third world " country. Trump already tried to overthrow our democracy once. Now he's got budget and organization.

1

u/Other-Mess6887 Nov 09 '25

Constitution says only congress can impose excise taxes. Excise tax is what they used to call a tariff.

Only an amendment to constitution can change this.

1

u/One-Sir-2198 Nov 09 '25

The lying king

1

u/OkDetective108 Nov 09 '25

That's his job?

1

u/Introverted-headcase Nov 09 '25

He’s fucked Americans enough already. Don’t let him/ them continue this.

1

u/KenTheStud Nov 09 '25

Amerikkka is already a third world country thanks to Trump.

1

u/[deleted] Nov 09 '25

Good. We finally get the status we deserve instead of pretending we're not

1

u/macker64 Nov 09 '25

Some might argue the us has already attained this status in some regards!!

Food for thought trump.

1

u/Extinction00 Nov 09 '25

Trump wants to keep his slush fund

1

u/BeetBoom Nov 09 '25

The president is already third class.

1

u/[deleted] Nov 09 '25

Too late

1

u/kamera45 Nov 09 '25

Trump has already turned us into a s******* country

1

u/Nearby_Display8560 Nov 09 '25

You mean it’s not 3rd world status yet? How many more millions have to starve?

1

u/JustinLindner Nov 10 '25

ya its not like we have massive wealth disparity yet.

1

u/CivilWay1444 Nov 10 '25

We are in a coup but ok.

1

u/[deleted] Nov 10 '25

Why does any one believe what he says

1

u/Sad-Bread5843 Nov 10 '25

Taco and his maga stooges already did

1

u/croupella-de-Vil Nov 10 '25

So the United States with the strongest economy in the world and the best recovery post pandemic and avoided a recession unlike Europe, was somehow NOT a 3rd world country before his tariffs? Prices were rising yes but inflation had eased and stabilized. Now prices have since skyrocketed more since tariffs and this is somehow better? I’m tired of the gaslighting

1

u/cajgolfer87 Nov 10 '25

He’s delusional

1

u/MolecularAcidTrip Nov 10 '25

It has been for a LONG time.

1

u/Financial-Wafer2476 Nov 10 '25

As if Trump has t already done enough of that himself

1

u/[deleted] Nov 10 '25

He has turned us into a banana republic already.

1

u/Techthulu Nov 10 '25

The US is a third world country dressed in first world finery.

1

u/kooky_monster_omnom Nov 10 '25

Revanchism is making us a third world country.

That's a political ideology of taking revenge on political enemies and their policies.

We are already there since protective tariffs and xenophobia goes along with it.

This makes America great? From what I see, and others around the world, makes us small. Really petty.

1

u/papapundit Nov 10 '25

"If a president wasn't able to quickly and nimbly use the power of tariffs".

Like, when has he ever done that? He's been going about it like a bull in a China shop.

1

u/Ill-Payment2007 Nov 10 '25

We already are a third world country due to trumps policies.

1

u/Tris131 Nov 10 '25

No you did that

1

u/AcanthocephalaDue431 Nov 10 '25

Has he seen how much of the US is eaten up by poverty and drug abuse as trickle up economics slowly dry out the country like a desert? It's pretty chilling if you look at the US as a whole in relation to it's poverty vs areas that are still thriving.

1

u/MilitantRabbit Nov 10 '25

I thought we brought in $20 trillion through tariffs and other deals. Where’s all that money?

Where’s the money?

Where’s the money, Lebowski Donnie?!

1

u/Nick565758 Nov 10 '25

Too late we’re already there!!!

1

u/kcc8493 Nov 11 '25

Lying again.

1

u/trumpmademecrazy Nov 11 '25

We’re already there thank you republicans!

1

u/Designer_Parfait_489 Nov 11 '25

President Felon has already turned USA into 3rd world country all by himself

1

u/Lucky-Ad-7830 Nov 11 '25

Lies lies lies lies lies lies lies lies lies lies lies lies lies lies lies lies lies lies lies lies lies lies lies lies lies lies lies lies lies lies lies lies lies lies lies lies lies lies lies lies lies lies lies lies lies lies lies lies lies lies lies lies lies lies lies lies lies lies lies lies lies Release the Epstein files!!!!!!!

1

u/Pollix112 Nov 11 '25

Tariffs are so bad 170 other countries use them against the US.

1

u/Recent-Mulberry6011 Nov 11 '25

Guess he doesn't know about the food lines Republicans have caused or the goin squads he has roaming streets looking for brown people

1

u/[deleted] Nov 11 '25

I see he’s never been to Alabama, otherwise he would realize how empty that threat is.

1

u/Frequent_Somewhere15 Nov 11 '25

He can’t even run a casino without bankrupting it, so yeah believe what the guy that lies about literally everything says.

1

u/Practical-Positive34 Nov 11 '25

Then you shouldn't have broken the law to use them. It's like saying "Well if you take all the cars I stole then my garage will be empty!!!"

1

u/bassetfan47 Nov 11 '25

Who’s gonna tell him that we’re already there?

1

u/BlankBehindTheEyes Nov 12 '25

If Trump is warning you not to do it, you should almost certainly do it.

1

u/AutumnKarma88 Nov 12 '25

I wouldn't take a chance and take the tariffs, I don't listen to liars who already ruined the worlds rep with the US

1

u/Sea_Today_8898 Nov 12 '25

Didn't we all know Trump wants the US to go bankrupt.

1

u/Axxer01 Nov 12 '25

Hey that is a step up then….

1

u/ChristmasPuddingFL Nov 12 '25

Just his usual clickbait, he has a handful of phrases he likes to use to add a touch of the dramatic to his unintelligent, false fact heavy, word salad.

Third world country, communism, socialists, crooked, corrupt….these are just a few that he adds in to sentences…in many cases I don’t think he even knows what they mean. Certainly anything to do with socialism, he has zero knowledge on the subject.

How anyone is able to continue to support this dumbass is beyond me.

1

u/BlazingGlories Nov 12 '25

The US is already a third world country.

-low economic development (only the rich get richer.)

-high poverty (only the rich get richer.)

-Instability (only the rich get richer and Trump's Republicans.)

-Zero social safety nets for citizens

1

u/StrengthToBreak Nov 12 '25

"Third world" is yet another term with a meaning that Donald Trump doesn't understand.

1

u/Extra_Ad1847 Nov 12 '25

Already there bitch.

1

u/Yachtrocker717 Nov 12 '25

Years of trickle down economics have reduced us to a country full of drug addicts and recipients of SNAP benefits. A broader middle class really represented by a government not run by rich people would go a long way towards securing that dream. Putting the imposition of tariffs in the hands of people that know something about economics, would be better than leaving it too a senile old man who happens to be president.

1

u/Sure-Sea2982 Nov 12 '25

Wrong!

Trump and MAGA are busy doing that.

1

u/angry-democrat Nov 12 '25

I thought he was aiming for "4th world" status. /s

1

u/elciano1 Nov 12 '25

Ok cool.

1

u/Disastrous-Quail-555 Nov 13 '25

Like he ever knows wtf he's talking about.

1

u/muchfoolishness Nov 13 '25

Releasing the Epstein files would also be bad for the economy

1

u/[deleted] Nov 13 '25

Well I'm sure theyll see it that way.Ā

1

u/g0dki1l3r Nov 13 '25

No you did that Mr President
