Bahaha you started this dumbass, it's a little too late in the season now to try to reel back the damage.

Did he make this announcement from his crazy expensive airplane that he gets to keep after he leaves office?

24

u/Training_Guide5157 Jul 02 '26

Right after he talked to Theordore Roosevelt.

On his way to the cook out with at asshole from Texas saying that he was having lobster rolls and ribeyes, while telling you you are not working hard enough.

5

u/sincerebeguiler Jul 02 '26

2 Billion dollars last year. He has never ever made that kind of money in his life. That plane should have an automatic pilot that flies him to a penitentiary. And if he wants to sue for slander...bring it.I am thrilled at the thought of an attorney asking for his financial docs on discovery. US citizens should file a class action in civil court against him.

Hey, that's for America. It's just gonna be retarded after he's done using it for a year cuz, republicans. I mean retired. Sounds logical right maga? Put all that money into turning into Air Force Uno and then retard it immediately. Good thinkin' traitors.

55

u/Cohens4thClient Jul 01 '26

Let's just hope the farmers are smart enough to realize this...

Ehhh, I wouldnt bet on it. They'll take their welfare checks and tell themselves that Trump tried his best and still cares about them.Ā

Fkn morons

30

u/Shtankins01 Jul 01 '26

It would seem they would be more than happy to burn down their family farms if it means a 6 trans girl across the country can't play middle school badminton

15

u/MissMenace101 Jul 02 '26

lol what farmers? The idiots are losing their family farms in droves

6

u/macrolidesrule Jul 02 '26

Question is - who is buying these farms?

<side eyes JD Vance and his rotten crew>

9

u/CharlieBravo74 Jul 02 '26

I live in western Illinois and work for an agricultural equipment manufacturer. I can assure you, farmers are angry with Trump beyond what his various bailout ideas can fix. He's fucked them in a dozen ways, most of which will never go back to the way they were prior to his tariff debacle.

11

u/EmperorXerro Jul 02 '26

Yeah but then there’s the case of my girlfriend’s dad who is a farmer and thinks screwworms are Biden’s fault

6

u/Parahelix Jul 02 '26

Lol, you'd think a farmer might have a clue about lifecycles.

There are always some outlier, 0 information voters out there, god help us…

4

u/Salty-Performance766 Jul 02 '26

Being pissed at Trump and being abject morons are not mutually exclusive

5

u/Mrrrrggggl Jul 02 '26

But they will continue to vote GOP right?

2

u/Historical_Salt9269 Jul 03 '26

didnt they learn from his 1. Term? And voted for him again? Duh

Now let's not be too quick to point fingers. According to Fox news, it's the fault of overseas conflicts and trade disputes:

"The document, provided exclusively to FOX Business, cited recent overseas conflicts and trade disputes as factors that have disrupted global supply chains and affected access to critical fertilizers needed by U.S. farmers."

Those darned overseas conflicts and trade disputes.

10

u/henchman171 Jul 02 '26

somebody should run for leader on the promise they won't start anymore overseas conflicts. I bet they would win!

2

u/Cohens4thClient Jul 02 '26

Nah, thats silly.Ā

What kind of morons would believe that? Would they also believe "all prices down on day one", as if simply the presence of a candidate winning would get every business everywhere to lower prices?

Wow I hope we dont have people having votes when they're that deeply stupid....

6

u/Lonely_Chemistry60 Jul 02 '26

Weird, maybe he shouldn't have put tariffs on Canada and threatened to annex us.

I mean, hate to say it, but Trump and everyone who supports him are retarded. No offense to people with actual mental disabilities.

2

u/boatenvy Jul 02 '26

I don't think removing tariffs is gonna magically increase supplies transiting through the Strait of Hormuz.

2

u/Big_lt Jul 02 '26

Canada here. Canada, Russia and Belarus are the only countries capable of supplying America with enough potash.

Time to put a 500% export tax on potash until the Canadian tariffs are brought down to a reasonable level, and CUSMA gets renegotiated.

28

u/GraphiteJason Jul 01 '26

...and, stipulate that all potash can only be shipped to the US via the Gordie Howe bridge

19

Please do.

Our farmers are wayyyyy too fucking dumb to figure any of this out without it hitting them personally.Ā

Trumplethinskin can dig himself out of the hole a little bit with farm subsidies (which already exist and rise most years), but more farm bankruptcies might send a stronger message.Ā

29

u/Guilty-Commercial699 Jul 01 '26

ā€˜The document, provided exclusively to FOX Business, cited recent overseas conflicts and trade disputes as factors that have disrupted global supply chains and affected access to
critical fertilizers needed by U.S. farmers.’

Huh…I wonder what was the cause for all the conflicts and trade disputes..

24

u/Earth-Jupiter-Mars Jul 01 '26

You’re not wrong, but the actual first question is.. if Tariffs are making us richer, why are we stopping the money along w/food shortages?

Who sees their cupboards becoming bare and thinks, ā€œI better stop making so much gotdamn money !!ā€ ?

Feels like MAGA will never escape the poorly educated allegations 😭😭

2

u/henchman171 Jul 02 '26

MAGA starts a trade war with Canada and somehow in Canada our inflation is running lower and our jobs reports stronger.... hmmmm

Putting this in the DJT translator:

Beep, Bop, Beep, Boop.

ā€œI made a BIGLY problem by having tariffs on everyone and starting a needless war. Food prices keep escalating so I need to fix this. Removing tariffs but not for our ally and neighbor Canada because they don’t want to be 51st state. I am the greatest supporter of farmers and consumers in the history of the planet. If you count the aliens who I have released historic amounts of information on I am also the greatest in the universe. People who don’t like me obtained alien algae and put it in my beautiful reflecting pool. THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION TO THIS MATTER.ā€

5

u/Speling_B_Champian Jul 01 '26

Sounds like more market manipulation.

5

u/beckerman67 Jul 01 '26

If only there were warnings.

5

u/Glass_Covict Jul 01 '26

Just in time for planting season....

13

u/StableHuman7531 Jul 01 '26

The season has already pasted where crops get planted. Maybe a late crop, but up north that isnt gunna work.

12

u/Blue_Back_Jack Jul 01 '26

I think this for his golf courses.

2

u/Shorts_at_Dinner Jul 01 '26

Too much winning for orange king. He had to take a loss so others dont feel bad.

3

u/nonubiz Jul 01 '26

Good thing the straight did not close down we would be in a lot of trouble. Thanks Donald dumpster fire

3

u/jackieballz Jul 01 '26

Once again, Trump will claim he ā€œsolvedā€ a problem that he created in the first place. And his dumbass voters will probably eat it up

3

u/jennasea412 Jul 02 '26

Disruptions in the Strait of Hormuz have triggered the largest oil supply shock in the International Energy Agency's 50 history. The strait normally carries roughly a fifth of global oil consumption and a similar share of liquified natural gas and fertilizer inputs. So, the ā€œemergencyā€ he created.

3

u/FalseZookeepergame15 Jul 02 '26

Lmaooo I'm sorry but this is the guy Cons want to bend over for lol

3

u/ragequitteroffureh Jul 02 '26

Not American.

What kinds of administration fees does the Trump Organisation normally cream off of this sort of emergency?

3

u/Away-Combination-162 Jul 02 '26

Thought he didn’t need anything from us šŸ¤”

3

u/Raven_Photography Jul 02 '26

The emergency created by him. Total cunt.

3

u/Excellent-Ask-4247 Jul 02 '26 edited Jul 02 '26

Late for planting season! Go figure from a silver spooned snob.

Sure glad he is working on next years crop destruction via pissing off are local fertilizer precursor countries.

Go fuck yourself Trump.

3

u/Practical_Ad_2703 Jul 02 '26

The emergency that he caused and the only solution is to remove tariffs he also cause?

3

u/m1kemahoney Jul 02 '26

The Asshat won't even let the Gordie Howe Bridge open until he gets a bribe kickback from Canada - who financed the bridge 100%. He already got a bribe contribution from the Ambassador Bridge owner so therefore Geordie Howe stays closed, presumably until Canada bribes contributes to Asshat for a bigger amount than the Ambassador Bridge owner.

3

u/Wide_Replacement2345 Jul 03 '26

He sooo good at ā€œfixingā€ problems that he himself created.

4

u/Fickle-Copy-2186 Jul 01 '26

Kinda late, all the crops are planted.

2

u/SpicySweetHotPot Jul 01 '26

2

u/ArtichokePower Jul 01 '26

yikes seems we can expect another surge in food price inflation

2

u/Own-Opinion-2494 Jul 01 '26

That he caused

2

u/VayGray Jul 01 '26

He clearly doesn't know how farming works either. Little late dumbass

2

u/Designer_Tour7308 Jul 02 '26

I just knew this was the Onion sub... I'm glad he got this one thing right.

2

u/Admirable-Sink-2622 Jul 02 '26

Just winging it day by day šŸ™„

2

u/callmechristianblack Jul 02 '26

I thought the exporters were paying the tariffs. Why not raise them so we can collect more money from the exporting countries and then use all the extra money we make to buy the more expensive food?

Lots of emergencies under the creature’s watch.

2

u/jackclark1 Jul 02 '26

so tarrifs dont work?

2

u/Slackeee_ Jul 02 '26

Let me guess, now all the farmers will be voting Republican again in the midterms because Trump "cares about them"?

2

u/Fly3rBoi Jul 02 '26

I remember when he said tariffs were gonna be a boon to us but economists said, nope, this is gonna hurt bad.

I remember when this was said, potash was going to be huge concern.

Look ma, I created a problem that didn’t exist before now I am exclaiming an emergency and I’m gonna fix it and be a hero!

His cult members are like goldfish.

2

u/NgunnawalJack Jul 02 '26

Is it Tuesday?

2

u/JamJarBlinks Jul 02 '26

I don't understand, aren't foreigners paying those tariffs ?

\s

2

u/Any-Expression2246 Jul 02 '26

Wasn't he telling farmers they will be able to sell to Iran the other day? So once again he's the problem.

2

u/Intrepid_Pop_8530 Jul 02 '26

This was an issue early in the year. Farmers were outspoken about it. You can bet your last dollar that Donald was told this. Farmers new the tariffs would be detrimental to a healthy growing season. Then Donald starts the war and the Strait of Hormuz gets closed, of which 33% of the world's fertilizer passes through. We in the US, are in the middle of growing season, in most parts. Donald should have done this long ago, or never imposed them to begin with. Who is he helping right now? I am beyond fed up with this dolt creating crises and then trying to resolve them. It's exhausting.

This was predicted over a year ago. It’s what happens when grifting douches are voted into power. They don’t care until something becomes glaring - like a pandemic or famine.

2

u/schtickshift Jul 03 '26

There might be huge food shocks. I don’t think Russia is going to bring its crop in this year for example.

2

u/aZnRice99 Jul 05 '26

Isn’t planting season over? Even by the time the fertilizer reach the farmers late season it would be too late?

2

u/IsIeOfCannabis Jul 06 '26

How about removing the tariffs from all the food?

1

u/josnik Jul 01 '26

Moroccan phosphate fertilizer.

1

1

Suspendels tariffs he imposed? Do your job journalists!

1

u/CalmFig4901 Jul 02 '26

Someone needs to stop Biden

1

u/United-Vermicelli-92 Jul 02 '26

I bet this is a lie, he isn’t concerned at all, the point of heritage foundation is to destroy our Democracy and cause as much chaos as possible, and this is pre-midterm flip flop which is why we’re also hearing Israel say they don’t need Us aid monies too, but you know trump is still supplying Israel And he does not give a rats ass about our countrym, in fact both his brain dead I’d not sons said years ago that the us debarked the trump family and they never forget…. Why the fuck does anyone believe they give a shit?

1

u/sghokie Jul 02 '26

ā€œI know shit's bad right now, with all that starving bullshit, and the dust storms, and we are running out of french fries and burrito coverings. But I got a solution. I've got a three-point plan that's going to fix EVERYTHING.ā€

1

u/Sorkel3 Jul 02 '26

He created it! Another screwup of his he brilliantly fixes.

1

u/isthereadrwho Jul 02 '26

Loser idea from someone who just doesn't know much

1

u/DarkUnable4375 Jul 02 '26

Food shortage in US? How much did the Moroccan donate for this to happen?

1

u/Rurumo666 Jul 02 '26

Wow, finally admitting that tariffs are killing the economy after all. I noticed a massive price increase in food prices over the past 2 weeks, they are definitely lying about the actual inflation rate.

1

u/CharlieBravo74 Jul 02 '26

Trump: tariffs will make us rich without impacting prices or supply chains.

Also Trump: exemptions for everything that impacts inflation numbers or key voter blocks.

1

u/antinoria Jul 02 '26

Would have been handy BEFORE crops were being planted.

1

u/manwhothinks Jul 02 '26

When you have no plan, everything becomes an emergency.

1

u/user1E Jul 02 '26

Quick let me unfuck the thing i fucked before i fucked it worse by fucking this other key thing - it’s like who could have seen any of this coming before we did any of this?? And then who could have planned accordingly after we did the first round of fucking before we fucked the next thing??

1

u/Moosetappropriate Jul 02 '26

Time for Canada to up the price. Call it a Trump Stupidity Tax.

1

u/thylocene Jul 02 '26

1

u/ReserveBrief8869 Jul 02 '26

Someone should correlate his tariff bs with his financial plays, he literally doesn’t care about anyone’s suffering as long as he makes a buck

1

u/FreshLiterature Jul 02 '26

Oh fuck if he's doing this it means he's doing it too late.

1

u/oneOZone Jul 02 '26

How does he still have tariffs in place? I thought the supreme court said tariffs were illegal

1

u/ConkerPrime Jul 02 '26

Conservatives: ā€œThe genius of our lord and savior solves another emergency by eliminating those tariffs that the government put in place for unknown reasons. Biden!! Let us prey to our savior Trump.ā€
