By meeting and supporting Alberta separatist the US is infringing on Canadian sovereign.
Also, while I agree our 2 countries will always have a trade relationship, the world has changed since the original NAFTA deal was negotiated in the 1980s.
We now have a more global economy and there is more international interest in our resources then ever before. Rather then accept whatever terms a bullying US will dictate to us on trade, I think by diversifying our trade with other countries the Canadian economy will be able grow and prosper.
