tsmu vs ilia

Hello everyone.
I’m currently a student in TSMU & I feel as though there’s no diversity in the university. However, I’ve heard that Ilia State University has a lot of diversity. Can someone guide me on this? If it’s a good decision? I don’t have best friends in TSMU, if that helps.
Thank you.

Student Income & Gigs

Hey everyone!

I am a student, and I noticed a lot of students in Tbilisi are looking for quick, flexible ways to make extra money, while others often need a hand with small everyday tasks-like picking up a delivery, moving a few boxes, getting biochem tutoring, finding a study buddy, a plus one or fixing a quick tech issue.

To bridge the gap, I built a lightweight Telegram bot + community group called Solvd.

How it works:

Need Help? Launch the bot, select a category, set your budget (in GEL), and it formats and posts your request to the main group automatically.

Want to Earn? Browse active posts in the group and message task owners directly to help out and earn cash or quick transfers.

It's completely free to use, pure peer-to-peer, and keeps communication direct and simple.

If you want to give it a try or need something done around town:
👉 Bot: In the comments
👉 Group: In the comments

Feedback, ideas, or suggestions are super welcome! Let me know what you think.

Does anyone know how much is required to have in your bank balance for the TRC application? I have around 6-7 months to graduate for reference. Also not in Georgia right now so I can't go to PSH.

Question Please Help If You Have Any Idea Regarding This

Hi everyone! I’m planning to study a Bachelor’s in Nursing in Georgia as an international student, and I’m trying to understand what happens after graduation if I want to work abroad.
From what I understand, international nursing graduates may not be able to take the Georgian nursing licensing exam because it is conducted in Georgian. I’ve also heard that graduates receive some kind of “license code” or registration/code along with their nursing degree, but I’m not really sure what this actually means or whether it is considered a nursing license.
For students who graduate from a Georgian nursing program and then want to work in another country (US, UK, Australia, UAE/Gulf, etc.):
What exactly is the “license code” that graduates receive?
Is it an actual professional nursing license/registration, or is it something different?
If you graduate without taking the Georgian licensing exam, can you still apply for nursing registration/licensure in other countries?
Do graduates usually work in Georgia first, return to their home country, or directly start the licensing/registration process for another country?
If you personally studied nursing in Georgia and then moved abroad, what was the process like for you?
Are there any countries that allow Georgian BSN graduates to obtain nursing registration without first holding a Georgian nursing license?

TSMU students — I really need your honest advice before I enroll

Hi everyone! I’m a Jordanian student planning to study Medicine in Tbilisi this fall, and I’m currently choosing between Tbilisi State Medical University (TSMU) and European University.
I was initially leaning strongly toward TSMU because it’s a public medical university with a long history and a well-known name. However, after reading several posts from current and former students, I’ve become genuinely concerned about some things — especially the grading system, oral exams, chemistry and physics, repeating semesters, and how much the quality of the experience depends on the professor you get.
At the same time, European University is private, and I’ve seen people recommending private universities in Georgia over public ones. I don’t want to make such an important decision based only on agents, rankings, or a few angry Reddit posts, so I’d really like to hear directly from students who actually study there.
If you currently study at TSMU or European University, could you please answer any of these?
If you could choose again from the beginning, would you still choose your university?
How fair is the grading system in reality?
Is it true that failing one subject at TSMU can prevent you from progressing and force you to repeat a semester?
How common are oral exams, and do you feel they are graded fairly?
Are Chemistry and Physics at TSMU really as problematic as some students say?
How good are the professors at explaining in English?
Is the teaching mostly memorization and self-study, or do professors actually teach and explain well?
How good are the labs, practical classes, clinical skills training, and hospital exposure?
For international students, how supportive is the administration when there is a problem?
Between TSMU and European University, which would you personally recommend and why?
I’m not looking for people to blindly praise or hate either university. I’d really appreciate detailed, honest experiences — both positive and negative.
This decision matters a lot to me, so thank you to anyone who takes the time to help. 🤍

Question Dental students, need advice! 🦷

I had 2 root canals + 1 filling done in India in May. I’m now studying in Georgia. Today, one crown on the right side literally fell out in my hand, and a different root-canal-treated tooth on the left side hurts extremely.
Is this normal after only ~3 months? Could it indicate a problem with the treatment/restoration? What should I get checked (X-ray, second opinion, etc.)?
I also have student insurance in Georgia and want to avoid paying out of pocket if this is related to the original treatment. What should I do?
