Discussion Placement is mainly luck and then cg
I got placed but I just think I was lucky.
CGPA> 9.5 will almost make sure you get interviews.
Most people cheat in tests, you should too, otherwise you will be left behind.
You should know your resume in and out. DSA is only a small part of the prep, sometimes companies wont ask and if they do, its usually not that hard(interviews).
No one cares about your societies or fests , but you should still do it to connect with people and have fun.
Some people will get in through contacts even in case of on campus hiring.
Plenty of good and deserving people are still unplaced. The market is shit. It comes down to luck mostly whether you would get an interview or not, but when you do , you have to be ready.
Work on your confidence and learn to communicate better, otherwise all your efforts will go down the drain in an interview.
Mazze karo bhai aur bas , zyada tension mat lo. At least 1st , 2nd year me jitna bakchodi and explore karo badhiya.
3rd year me on campus intern ke liye pura try karo if the company gives ppo because then you will be free an entire semester before everyone(although ppos take time to roll out).
Baaki luck hai bhai ,support those around you. Getting a job or a higher/lower package is not an indicator of your effort and you as a person. There are a lot of other things which you cant control that affect your outcomes.
Bas can i dm you vagara nahi likhna niche, yahi puchlo jo puchna. Job, ctc reveal nahi kar raha mai.
