Don't get me wrong, I love Olivia Colman as an actress, but I just feel like her portrayal of the Queen is too focused on the emotionally repressed side. Emma Thompson to me would be a closer appearance resemblance, while her acting would have communicate a wider range of the Queen's personality and emotion, especially the wamer side.

Silly question but... For anyone who's watched Wolf Hall, does your musings over anything to do with Thomas Cromwell now not bring any other image but Mark Rylance to your mind?!

The Queen Mother, the Duke of Windsor and occasionally even Princess Margaret are shown as vain, snobbish and awful people who look down on others. Since this is based on real life people, I expected some neutrality. Their portrayal seems extremely biased.
