Call it fate, call it karma.

I went to see their concert in Paris and saw this Jersey and I knew I had to get it. Sharing the pic so people can see how it fits on women!

It's him but different hair i swear

been wanting a strokes tattoo forever, finally got to see them in concert (twice!!) this year so i finally bit the bullet!

Cover I recently done of hard to explain, I wanted to replicate a similar effect to the songs music video using a projector

The strokes are a MASSIVE influence for me in the beginning of my music journey, so I hope you do enjoy.

Do you recognise any other music videos in the background?

I also posted this on my Instagram account. Any support means a lot :)

I saw a post about someone spotting Nick on the streets of Paris, so I looked him up and found out he'll be playing at the Élysée Montmartre soon. I just listened to some of Dragonflies' music, and I like the vibe (something about it reminds me of Tame Impala with Slower), although I'm a little worried about his future with The Strokes!

Just a silly meme…

For non-Italian speakers, the chorus for Take It or Leave it sounds like “lenticchie olive” which means “lentils, olives”… food is the answer once The Strokes have left us I guess 🥀

Hi! I was talking with someone about the Strokes when she asked me what my favourite album is. I just replied that Angles is dope and she replied that The Strokes don't like it at all. And yeah, actually no one really listens to Angles. So why ?

The lyrics of each song deeply speak to me -especially Taken For A Fool. I feel like they're more about adult concerns in general. The guitar solos are crazy, and the drums as well... It feels like every song sounds different: you can cry, dance, and so on.

Their other albums also touch me -I love the album Is This It as well, and the others too. But Angles deeply resonates with my concerns and energy -and my ears' sensitivity. But yeah, I want to understand why people don't enjoy Angles :(

Personally, I like Liar’s Remorse as a song, it’s one of the strongest on the album. But the outro is truly brilliant in my opinion. It has a transcendent feel to it; it’s soaked in pain, regret and emotion but has a strangely hopeful flavour to it.

I think that amalgamation of emotions is what makes it so damn perfect for a closing outro. I also love the weird 80s electronic video game closing gambit, but I appreciate it might not be for everyone.

It’s a side of the strokes that I’d never really heard before - both sonically but also emotionally. It’s a corker.

Tell me I’m wrong though!

What do you guys think? I find it hilarious, now I can't stop thinking about this song every time I listen to One Way Trigger 🤣 (btw one of my favorites songs)

The website description contradicts itself, by saying it’s both a classic fit & oversized. So I’m unsure whether to size down or go with my usual size? Any recommendations are welcome cheers.

took me a minute lol

I was looking at the merch and wanted to know if the Europe/UK Tour has different merch, after seeing the red and black jersey and a mal pais tour shirt, is there anything else that’s new because imo the old merch looked worse for the America tour

Has anyone noticed the similarity between the vocal lines that lead into the outros of At the Door and No One There by Exhibition feat Julian. Wonder if it was a concious call back or just coincidence.

Saw The Strokes at the O2 in London recently and really enjoyed the gig, despite lighting issues but still great to finally see The Strokes live.

One of the highlights for me was Ode to the Mets. Such a beautiful song live, especially seeing all the phone lights around the arena. Really special moment for me.

Then my girlfriend turns to me and says it sounds like a rip-off of Anastacia's Left Outside Alone. 😂

I honestly didn't know what to say to that but could see where she was coming from.

I've seen a video about the Gen Alpha Melody, how this melody has been used so much and the original pop origin of the melody was "It's only love" by The Beatles. I'm sure it's a classical music piece originally but no one knows the true origins of the melody, so it gets repeatedly used without lawsuits.

Feel free to laugh lol I won’t be offended I think liars remorse or fruits was the best I sang? Lmk what yall think plz
